It's him.

I saw him across the room, sipping his drink -which seemed to be whiskey- and just looking around. He didn't appear that he was looking for something in particular, just glancing around, like every other stranger in this club. But he was different.

His skin was lightly tanned, deep brown eyes and messy chocolate hair, which despite its scruffy look, suited him perfectly. So perfectly.
An American, most likely, though assuming would be wrong to do so. But if I were to hazard a guess, I would say so. From the way he slumped just a little on the stool, the way he looked around the room.
Most likely.

Still, don't assume; Stereotypes are nothing anymore.

He wore a slick black suit and trousers, at tie as well, so he must be here for business, like others were, dotted around the place. And yet, he was alone. Probably waiting for someone.

On what business?

From what it looked like, he didn't see me staring his way, still occasionally sipping his drink and looking at the door. He must be waiting for someone.

I look down at my table for a second, fiddling with the slightly loose bracelet on my arm and deciding how I can start a conversation with a stranger, before turning my attention back to him.

He's now staring at me.
Right at me, pinning my heart in place. A little smile hangs on his face, warm but not too kind.
He's gorgeous. And I don't say that lightly. He's really, really...

"Genji, we're going now."

No.

Not now.

I nod and stand up, still watching him, as he watches me.

He gives me a wink and a blush quickly climbs my cheeks. Smooth.

I break our stare and follow Hanzo, who stops nearer the door and begins talking to a cheery couple at a different table.

Something about trade?

I smile at them, but i'm not listening.

I look back and he's gone.

Gone, and I feel a pang of disappointment in my chest. I wait for Hanzo, for once staying quiet in my life and just deciding to stay put.

They're taking forever. My eyes begin to wander, wondering if maybe he's still here.

He's not.
He's gone.

I miss him.
And yet, I don't even know his name.

The world is blurry, light fading fast. My body aches, but I can't feel a thing. Nothing but pain. Excruciating pain.
Pain which makes you hysterical.
Pain which makes you cry.

Red seeps in through the corner of my vision, blurred out by the hot tears which stream from my eyes.

I can't move.
I can't breathe.

I'm suffocating in the air I could breathe fine in 2 minutes ago.
My eyes flicker, holding on, breath stuttering as I call out my brother, Hanzo.

Hanzo will save me...

Hanzo doesn't come.

I try to scream, but my call is silent, begging for anyone to help me.

I'm going to die here.
I'm going to die.

Everything is fading as the pain takes over, encasing me in the silence of the room.
The last thing i see is a blurry figure, towering above me, grimacing at a sight that I cannot see.
It's strange.
He reminds me of the beautiful man I'd seen in that club last week.

My eyes close, and the world is still.

"Boss?"
"Yes Jesse?" The crackled voice of the earpiece answers him.
"Yeah, I've found him."

Jesse...
I like that name...
