We all decided to just go back to my house for the rest of the day then sort everything out tomorrow. When morning hit Kennedy told me that she wanted to go to her grandmother's house. So I decided to go with her alone since everyone was still sleep. When we finally got there I let her look around while I stayed back.

I know I've asked you this already but ; what happened with you and my dad? I heard Kennedy ask

Senior year was supposed to be our year but I got pregnant with you and I guess we grew apart. I told her

Grandma said that you were pregnant twice and the first time my dad did something that made you lose it. She said

Oh um yeah that's not the whole story but it's something like that. I said looking at the music box

Can you tell me what happened? She asked

Yeah I guess..... you got everything you came for? I asked

Yeah I think so. Can we get something to eat before we go back to the house? She asked

Sure and we can talk in the car. I told her and she agreed

So what happened? She asked

Umm well I got pregnant the year before and when I told your father he accused me of cheating on him and the night we were supposed to tell our friends and family he slipped something in my drink it cause me have a seizure the next morning the doctor told us that I had miscarried. I told her

Why did you stay with him if you knew what he was capable of? She asked

I was young and stupid and somewhat in love. In my mind it was a mistake I never would have thought that he would go so far as to kill his own child before he even had a chance to hold it. I told her with tears in my eyes

What about me? Why did he take me? She asked

I don't know but I hate that I ever let them take you to that dumb ass nursery. I said

It's okay at least I'm here now. She said

I love you Kennedy and don't ever let anyone tell you differently. I told her before we both went in the house.
