Chapter 2 Cory

I had seen Ash walk away with her the stupid raven who had ash ripped around her. But I can't blame her, I was the same way with The dummy Leo parker. I was head over heels for the guy reasons unknown. He had Blond hair that was the warm color as the sun and he had soft gray eyes. While he listened to the jock's sweet words, not paying attention to what he was saying just, just listening to the sweet tone in his voice." um, so Cory do you wanna come?" I didn't even hesitate to say Yes. I have no clue what I was doing but if I  was with Leo, I would go anywhere. " Really? Thanks! Alright, the party is at 5, I'll pick you up at 4:30." Stated Leo, happy to see I said yes. Then he went rambling and he was glad he would have a guy there to talk to because all the other guys would most likely bring a girl and that he wasn't good at talking with girls. With the rambling he was doing I figured out where I was going, I was going to the football team get-together party. After a little bit, we said our goodbyes. I ran to my house and started to find an outfit. I decided on My blue space jacket, a white T-shirt that had a picture of a blue Saturn, Blue jeans, my blue converse, and my blue beanie. I put my moon earring in and that's when I heard the knock on my door, luckily I was finished getting ready so I ran downstairs and opened the door. It was Leo, my heart melted at the sight. He was wearing his leather jacket, A white shirt, also wearing blue jeans, and black converse. I looked at him and I could feel my face light up with all shades of red. "C-Cory! You look great ready to go?" he said, I could have sworn I saw a hint of red on his face. " of course, let's go!" I said in my normal upbeat and sassy tone. We got in his car and headed to the party. It was at one of the other jock's houses, when we got inside I went straight to the food table. I made myself a plate, with a whole lot of food. What can I say, a bitch gotta eat. When I sat down next to Leo where he was chatting with one of his teammates. I devoured the food on my plate because where else is the food supposed to go! " whoa, the little man can eat!" Stated one of Leo's teammates. I looked up at him with a death glare and was getting ready to sass him when Leo said, " come on guys we don't need to judge others, this is supposed to be a fun party!" He smiled, the smile made me forget everything, and got up to throw his plate away. When I walked back I saw Leo staring at something, I looked at what Leo was looking at and that's when I saw her. The girl was in my class, her name was Emma Hollie. She was Beautiful, dared to be known as the prettiest girl in the entire school. She had honey-blond hair, her eyes were a dark brown color. And when It came to looks she basically, every part of her was perfect. I felt like I was stabbed with a knife in the heart, I knew I could never win against her. I had always known he was a straight guy but I don't know why I tried to change that, I of all people should have known that, but just wanted him so bad but now I realize that I can't have the man I want. I walked up to him, " do you want me to introduce you to her?" I asked, trying to hide the hurt in my voice, and said in a fake cheery tone. "Yeah, you would! She looks nice, Maybe she can help me be better with talking to girls" He said with a red face and a smile. As I walked away to go get Emma I could my heartbreak with every step I took when I left them together. They were already both smiling and laughing. I sighed, I walked outside around to the side of the house. That's when I broke down. I curled up into a ball and started crying, the tears wouldn't stop. An hour went by when I had finally calmed myself down enough to tell him I'd walk home by myself. He said he would drive me home but told him it would be fine. When I was about a block away I heard the horn of a car, I turned and saw him...... Leo. He said to hop in I wanted to object but my body was already in the car. We sat in silence for a while. " Cory, is something wrong?" Leo asked with his soft gray eyes full of worry. "Oh, I'm fine, why do you ask." I replied while looking outside the window, trying to hide the pain in my eyes. When we got to my house, he walked me to my front door. I was about to walk inside when I heard Leo say my name and turned to look at him. Then I felt his lips on mine. I was shocked at first but then I allowed myself to melt into the feeling. Our lips were locked with each other, We only stopped to breathe. Then I looked up at Leo. Leo's face was flushed with red, he managed to shutter out a good night and he got in his car and left......I was not expecting this.
