epilogue

this is big-time skip time to years later. ( Raven point of view)

Ash and I were driving down to the adoption center. We were both super nervous, but we knew that we wanted this, when we arrived to meet the kids they looked about to be 13, the woman asked the kids to line up and to say their names and a fact about them. one after another they said their names and something like their favorite hobby and the crap. but when they got to a kid who had short hair she said," Hi my name August, and I-I really want to be a boy." The woman gave him a sticking look and he ran to hide behind the door. I looked at ash and we just had to look at each other and we both nodded. and we old the woman that we wanted to have august. She looked at us in shock, then she slowly turned and walked away to get the paperwork. I walked up to August and held out my hand. " hi, my name is Raven, and this is my wife Ash. We were wondering if you wanted to come to live with us?"  He looked at us with joyful shock and he grabbed my hand and told me yes....after filling out the paperwork we were driving home, and Ash asked him if they wanted to call him something else other than august. but he said he liked August and it was a unisex name so he thinks it's fine. I turned on the radio and we all started to jam out to different songs that came on until we got home. when we got inside we told August that his room was upstairs and he could check it out, and with that, he ran up the stairs.

time skip to later

August was looking around when he saw Me and Ash's wedding picture. he asked if we could tell him about it and I started that i was standing waiting for ash to walk down the aisle.

flashback 

Ash was walking down with her veil on, with roses in her hand.se looked gorgeous. I could hear the shortie of the already married, Cory yelling "YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE THE CRY BABY AND LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO ME!" the happy tears running down his face as his husband was trying to calm him down. I paid no mind o them and just paid attention to my bride. we said our vows and when we were declared wife and wife we kissed to seal it off.

flashback over

" Alright, that's enough story kiddo, time for bed," I told August and led him to his room and tucked him in even though he said he was too old for that. and I turned off the lights and we over to my wife and then gave her a kiss on the cheek. And I noticed she was looking over all the past letters I wrote to her. I asked why she still had them and she said they were special. I laughed crawling in to be next to my wife and she put her letters back and we drifted into sleep holding hands.
