A sigh left the Grand Master's lips as she leaned her chin on her fist, trying her best to keep her eyes open. She was beyond exhausted all thanks to the paperwork and commissions she had been provided by Mondstadt's people...she could hardly stay awake. She groaned as a cough attacked her chest, and her forehead pressed against her desk in defeat.
Even though it was technically her day off, she was still required to stay in her office- just in case the Abyss order were to attack, or something worse. Which broke her heart, she wanted to do something else today...but work just held her down.
Her partner, (Y/N), suggested going on a picnic in Windrise- and she was so excited about it as well. And that idea sounded so perfect to Jean...but she had to decline. With a final cough she allowed her blue hues to flutter shut, and slumber washed over her.

A 'clicking' sound echoed throughout the Cathedral as the girl wandered in, a brown basket swinging over her forearm and a smile on her face. She hummed as she looked around the pews, trying to spot one person in particular.
"Oh Barbara~" She cooed as she finally spotted the person she was after, and they quickly turned around. The blondes face softened as she recognised the person who called her- and she greeted her with a bright smile.
"(Y/N)? What are you doing here?" Barbara gasped as the two exchanged a short hug, and the h/c haired girl pointed to the basket around her arm.
"Me and your sister are going on a picnic, I was just wondering if you knew where she was?" She smiled, and the blonde hummed for a second. (Y/N) knew that Jean was busy and had to stay in her workplace, but she just couldn't take no for an answer. The Dandelion Knight was under so much pressure- and the freshly made dishes in her picnic basket were sure to melt some of that stress away.
"Still at the office as per usual. I pray to Barbatos everyday for her...she overworks herself so much" The healer said sombrely as she looked to the side, her face sullen. (Y/N) quickly squeezed her hand before thanking her, and she set off to the knight's headquarters.

After a quick exchange with Kaeya (and by exchange she means him flirting and trying to have a bite to eat from her basket) the h/c haired girl approached the Grand Master's office- gently knocking on the door several times. But after a few moments passed, it was evident Jean wasn't going to answer- so she let herself in. Even though the two had been together for so long...it felt wrong to barge into her work place.
As soon as she peaked her head round, she could see why Jean wasn't answering. She had her head rested on the desk, her arms tucked underneath it as a pillow- and her blonde locks covering her face.
"Bless her" (Y/N) smiled to herself as she placed the picnic basket on a free chair, and she reached out to gently shake her partner. It didn't take much to wake Jean- her head quickly shooting up and looking around.
"Wakey wakey" She grinned as she placed a kiss on the Grand Master's forehead, who sighed softly in return. Her cobalt orbs were still clouded with sleep, and the dark circles under her eyes showed how much she lacked it.
"(Y/N)...what on earth are you doing here?" Jean murmured as she looked up at her partner, who flashed the basket with a cheeky grin.
"Well...I couldn't accept no for an answer. It's your day off, and I want to spend it pampering you! I even made some Invigorating Pizza" She beamed, and the Dandelion Knight felt her heart melting. With another sigh she tightened her ponytail, looking back up at her partner.
"I'm still needed here, I wish we could go" Jean said sadly, and (Y/N) shook her head quickly.
"Nope! I explained the situation with Kaeya, and as annoying as he is- he agreed to keep an eye on things whilst you're gone. So...would you like to come with me to Windrise, Grand Master?" The h/c haired girl grinned, and Jean chuckled under her breath. This was one of the things she adored most about her partner- her stubbornness.
"I can't argue with that, let's go" She smiled, and (Y/N) clapped her hands as she picked up the picnic basket.
