You were minding your own business, sitting in an alleyway. You weren't a hero but you also weren't a villian, however you weren't a normal civillian either. You were on the side that wins. Your head started to spin and you heard a voice call out from behind you. "Hey, just what do you think you're doing?"
Your head turned around as your hood fell down. "Who's there?" You called out.
A few red feathers flew towards you, and pushed you against the wall.
You heard footsteps start coming your way.
"Dude just fucking answer me. Who are you?" You snarled at him. There was still no reply.
You started to struggle as the person got closer to you.
"Now, why on Earth are you sat in a dark alleyway, all alone, Miss?" A man with huge red wings appeared infront of you. His yellow eyes glistened as they made contact with your E/C ones.
You scoffed. "And why the hell is the number two hero in a dark alleyway with me, sir?"
He smirked and removed his feathers from your clothing, releasing you from the wall.
"What's your name?" He asked, placing his arm around your shoulder. He started to guide you out of the alleyway.
You sighed. "Why do I have to tell you?" You looked up at him, starting to glare at him. He started to feel a bit uneasy and removed his arm from around your shoulder. "Alright, alright. Chill out. I'm only doing this so that you can remain safe. You know how men are nowadays, most of them will lurk around dark alleyways looking for helpless women like you so that they can fill their own desires."
You clicked your tongue.
"What do you mean 'helpless women like me'? Who told you I was 'helpless'? For all you know, I could beat your ass right here right now, Mr. Hawks. It's none of your business who I am. Leave me the hell alone." You started to walk away, then you felt something grab your hand.
"Ugh, just piss o-" You felt a hand clasp around your mouth. Hawks had pushed you against the wall and placed his hand over your mouth, his other hand holding yours.
"Wot arf youz doong (What are you doing?)" You muffled.
"Shut up for a sec. I just spotted a couple of villains. Be quiet, I won't be able to handle them by myself so we need to get out of here." He whispered close to your ear. You hadn't had somebody so close to you in a long time, so you sighed and calmed down.
He removed his hand from over your mouth. "So where do we go?" You whispered. Hawks backed up for a second when he realised how close you were to him, and cleared his throat.
"What on Earth do you mean, darling? The sky of course." He smirked.
"The sk-" You were cut off as you felt Hawks pick you up, princess style, and start to fly in the air.
You gasped and closed your eyes, then slowly opened them when you realised you weren't in danger. You were flying with Hawks.
"Wow.." You smiled a bit.
You looked over at the street where Hawks said he had seen the villains. A man with burns all over his skin, from his chin to his collar bone. From his shoulders up to his wrists. The burnt pieces of skin were being held on with staples, he had black hair and genuinely looked a bit homeless. You looked over to his side, and noticed a smaller girl with blonde hair next to him. She was in a school uniform and had a knife in her hand. Her hair was in buns and when she walked, she twirled and danced around. She was really pretty. And he was... strangely hot.
You noticed the black haired man meet up with a lady on the street. He grabbed her arm and headed to a different part of town, running quickly. You lost where they were, so you used your quirk to track them down.
Instantly, you regretted your decision. The man was making out with this random woman, she was pushed against the wall with her hands wrapped around his neck, her leg was lifted and he was gripping her thigh. Their parts were... touching.
Your eyes squinted in disgust. "Gross." You stopped using your quirk, and then noticed a knife being thrown at you, catching your cheek and causing you to bleed. Looking down, the blonde girl had noticed you and was waving her arms around at you and Hawks.
"Pretty lady and bird man! Come down here and lets all play! Me and the pretty lady can be besties!" She laughed as she pulled another knife out from her uniform.
Hawks chuckled. "I would love to, but I'm a bit busy flying with moody right here. We can play some other time, kid."
He started to fly away from the area.
"Whaaaat? No fair!" You heard the girl shout.
The wind in your eyes caused them to tear up, and you closed them quickly. "Aren't I heavy?" You mumbled into his jacket.
"Of course not, you're as light as a feather."
You sighed at his terrible pun, but had to give him credit for coming up with it on the spot. "Not funny."
Hawks started to laugh. "Sorry, sorry. So where do you live anyways? I'll take you back home." He smiled at you.
You opened your eyes and pointed to your left and he flied there.
A couple of minutes passed in silence. Then you two arrived at your apartment. "This it?" He questioned, setting you down on the roof of your building. "Yep. Thanks for taking me here. Bye!"
"Hey wait a se-"
You quickly scurried inside the building and ran to your room, slamming the door behind you and flopping on your bed.
You punched your pillow and groaned.
Eventually, you stood up and got in the shower, bringing in a spare change of clothes with you - an oversized hoodie and underwear.
You got out the shower and started to get dressed.
Pulling your hood up, you brushed your teeth and then headed back to your room, stepping over piles of clothes that layed on the floor.
You jumped onto your bed and picked up your phone, and opened tik tok.
Tik Tok took your mind off of things, and after a while you lost track of time. Looking at the clock, you then realised it was 3am.
"Great."
You turned off your phone, still not feeling tired. You layed in your bed and stared at the ceiling.
After around 30 minutes of tossing and turning, you fell asleep.
