Chapter 9

Toni's pov

After what happend with Cheryl I gave her some space. 

A lot of space....

And I still don't understand why she ran away. For the last couple of days I never got the chance to talk to her. Every time I walked up to her she quickly walked away. Every time I wanted to sit next to she got up to sit somewhere else or she looked me scared in the eyes. 

I mis her so much. I mis her cute smile and laugh. I mis when she is flustered, the face that she make when she is confused and everything else about her.

I can't imagine my her, and I'm gonna take her back.

The next day I woke up and did my morning routine as usually . I got on my bike and drove to school. 

When I parked my bike, I saw her. Today was the day. Today I'm going to talk to her.  

I walked through the halls to my locker, and to my surprise Cheryl was by her locker to. I smiled, now I have to get my chance.

I walked to my locker and opened it. Cheryl jumped. She wanted to run away. But I grabbed her hand.

"Cheryl, please will you listen to me". I looked her in the eyes, 

She looked really scared. I didn't know what to do. So I grabbed her both of her hands and started talking.

"Cheryl, will you please tell what's wrong. Did I say something wrong, or..." I was cut with the feeling of lips on mine.

" I-I'm sorry, I should't have done that" She began to ran away. But I grabbed her arm again and shoved her against me and kissed her. And she kissed me back. I felt butterflies, it felt amazing.

I put her back on the ground as I pulled back and looked her in the eyes, and she was flustered as hell. She wanted to say something but nothing came out.

"Can I ask you the question again" I sad with all the love I could find in myself. 

She nodded and looked at the ground. I grabbed her chin and lifted it up.

"So my beautiful, cute Cheryl will you be my girlfriend and make me the happiest women in the world." 

Cheryl nodded with a wide smile on her face and jumped in arms. I didn't expect that so i shoved her gently against the lockers and kissed her.

"I'm sorry that I ran away when you asked it first, I was overwhelmed and didn't knew what to do. I'm sorry" Cheryl said.

"Don't be sorry Cher, I understand. I'm happy that I could ask it a second time. And that I can call you mine now" I said as I looked deep in her eyes. 

Cheryl smiled and kissed me. Then the bell rings for the first lesson.

"I see you later okay cutie?" I smiled. I pecked her on the lips and walked away to my first lesson.

Cheryl's pov 

When Toni walked away I was shocked for a second, then I did a little joy dance and walked to my class.

When I got to my class. I walked in with my head down as always. 

But the only seat that was not taken, was the seat next to Veronica. 

I'm I bit scared of Veronica. She was with Toni the person that used to bully me everyday before Toni and I became a thing. 

I walked to the seat and she looked me dead in the eye. I sat uncomfortable at the end of the seat. Suddenly I feel a hand on my leg. It was Veronica.

"Don't that because Toni is suddenly nice to you, that I'm also gonna be nice. Because is gonna be you're worst year of you're life" She said. I was terrified.

Then the lesson started. This is gonna be a long our.

As the lesson ended I rushed out the classroom and ran to my locker. But suddenly I was shoved into the lockers by someone. It made me squeal lightly.

It was Veronica.

"You thought our little talk was over?" she said with a intimidating tone.

I was lost in words and scared so I said nothing.

"Did you lost you're thong or something" She laughed.

Veronica shoved me more into the lockers a lifted me up.

"Listen you ugly ner..." Veronica got interrupted by a loud voice. 

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING TO HER YOU PIECE OF SHIT" It was Toni.

Toni pushed Veronica off of me so felled on the ground.

"Listen here you brat, if you touch er one more time. I'm going to end you and you're reputation". Toni said.

Then she ran up to me and helped me up. 

"Are you okay cutie?". I nodded with a little smile.

"let's get out of here. You can call you're mom if you want so she knows what's going on".

I nodded again and called my mom.

"Hey honey" My mom said.

"Hi mom, can I go out. Something just happend here and I just don't want to be here anymore".

"That's okay, who are you going with?"

"With Toni mom" I said quietly. 

"Okay honey, call me if you want me to pick you up. bye" She said and hung up.

"Is it okay with you're mother?" Toni asked. I nodded.

"And are you really okay?" I shrugged and looked down. Toni hugged me. 

 "Does this happens often?". I nodded

"Yeah, You used to do it to". I said quietly and looked at the ground again.

Toni sighed. "Cher, I'm really sorry that I those things to you. I really am."

"Toni, I already forgive you. And I trust you. So where are we going" I smiled. Toni smiled to.

"Lets go outside cutie".
