Chapter 5 - Date

Cheryl's pov

Before the date

I was in my room stressing out for my date with Toni, as I heard a knock on the door. My mother came in.

"Hi honey, can I talk to you for a second". I nodded and sat on my bed, my mother mirrored me.

"I want to talk about you about Toni, i'm a bit concerned. Toni was your bully and I think for a long time. Don't you think that this is a trick to bully you?"

"You got a point, but I don't think she will do it, she is equally very nice to me" I said smiling.

"Okay, I trust you. I only want you to be happy". She said to me as she gave me a hug. 

"thank you, but I trust you" my mom nodded and leaved the room.

As she was out of the room. I began to think about what my mother said to me. Maybe it was is a trick from Toni that she can bully me more or to just get me hart broken.

I couldn't think about anything else as I began to change for the date. I was really thinking if I should cancel the date because i'm scared.

Suddenly I hear the doorbell, a signel that Toni was at my door.

I panicked, but took a beep breath and walked down stairs.
I opened the door and there stood Toni with roses. I smiled.

"Hi Toni" I said blussing.

"He, are you ready for the date". I nodded my head.

"I-I go s-say g-goodbye t-to my m-mother" I said stuttering.

"Okay" she said with a bit confused look.

I walked to my mothers room and knocked on the door.

"Come in" I hear.

"Hey mom, I was came to just say that i'm leaving for my date" I said a bit nervous.

"What's wrong honey" she asked.

"I'm just scared that what you said earlier is true" I say looking down.

"Oh Cher, you have probably nothing to worry about, I just said that it's maybe smart to just keep it in mind that it could happens. But let that thought not ruining your night. Maybe she really likes you and you have a great date with you. And if it's actually happens, than I'm here for you" she said with a smile.

"Thank you mom, what time should I be home".

"Uhh, what about 12". I nodded and leaved the room.

"Are you ready?" Asked Toni. I nodded my head.

"Lets go then, I have a beautiful place I know where we can sit" she said as we walked to her car.

I got in the passenger seat and Toni in rider seat. She looks at me and asked.

"Are you okay, you look tensed" she said concerned.

I nod my head. "Yes, I'm just a bit nervous". I said looking at the ground.

"How so?" She said as we leave my driveway.

"You used to bully and I'm just a bit confused about everything and my mother and I had a talk about that you maybe used this date to bully me again and I don't want that and I have a crush on you since forever and I just don't understand why you want a date with me an-" I started rambling but I got cutted of by a hand on my thigh.

" Cher, I really like you, and I know that I used to bully you and if you would forgive me I wil stil give myself the blame that I bullied you. And I wouldn't do that again in a million years. So please don't be afraid about about me or that I start bullying you again" she said as she looks me in the eyes.
