" This is going to sound crazy but... from the moment I first set eyes on you I haven't been able to stop thinking about you"

We all sat in a circle as it began to get dark. I didn't realise how long I had been there until the sun started to set. Surprisingly I actually had fun and they were all so easy to get along with. I started to wonder if back home I wasn't the problem, the school was. I felt so out of place there but here I've never felt more like myself.

It was about 8pm, Ava came running up to me. "Where on earth have you been? We've been looking for you for hours! We thought some Italian mafia man had stolen you!" Ava screamed.

" Shit. I'm sorry I lost track of time. Um Ava meet Finn, Evie and Theo. Levi and Will went earlier into town to grab some food.I met them here, we've just been talking and drinking" I explained

"You've been drinking? Since when do you drink? Hello everyone by the way I'm Ava, Lily's best friend." She said.

Everyone welcomed her and she sat down with us as Theo handed her a beer. It was true what she said I had never drank before, I didn't see the point but when I moved here I felt different like I should try new things - so I did. I decided you only have one life why not.

A smile came to my face. I am different and I love it. I didn't have to act like the perfect daughter or get the good grades. I could act like a teenager like the young adult I am.

As we were sitting in the circle, Levi and will came back with baskets of food. I hadn't seen much of Levi and Will they went to get food hours ago when I first met them, I haven't had chance to talk to them. If I'm honest I'm not sure I'd be able to say much I was too busy looking after Finn. I hadn't know him long and he was too drunk to move. He lay with his head on my lap while I made sure he wasn't sick. I'm always too nice to people it's just who I am, I wanted to make sure he was ok.Levi and Will came back with the most amazing selection of breads, olives and cheese I've ever tasted. I about died eating it. The evening was perfect, the warmth of the bonfire and amazing food and people was one of the most memorable moments of my life.

As we sat in the circle laughing, talking, eating I couldn't help but watch Levi. Other than Ollie he was the first guy I found breathing taking. I have had other crushes and I can appreciate good looking men but it was different with Ollie and Levi. Wait. What am I saying, did I have a crush on Levi? My mind had drifted and I didn't even notice what I was thinking. I had just met him I shouldn't be feeling like this for someone I haven't even spoken to. I didn't even know what he properly sounded like, he hadn't spoken much, he was quiet like me. He was nothing like Ollie, yes they were both so attractive but Levi I couldn't describe it he was different.Ollie was strongly opinionated and loud but Levi was quiet and in his head a lot.

"You're staring" Ava whispered into my ear.

"Oh um sorry I just had a lot on my mind" I explained

"Sure you did. You definitely wasn't just checking hot Italian boy over there was you." She whispered

"Shut up. I've seen how you look at Finn." I replied

"Maybe we will both get our summer romances we've dreamed of" she explained.
