Chapter 12

Bree P.O.V

I can't believe Chase has a girlfriend, before I have a boyfriend. This is my worst nightmare. I mean, who in their right mind would like Chase? Lets just hope Adam doesn't get a girlfriend before I get a boyfriend. Oh yeah, it's competition time... I quit if I lose... Just saying...
But.. I'm glad that they're just acting as friends, even though they're more than that, so.. Things aren't that awkward..

"Okay, now try this one.." I pointed at a kicking board.
"Again? How many times did I already do this?" She whined spreading her hands out...

And suddenly a few icy-blue balls flew from her hand and smashed a few things, it wouldn't stop..

"Bree... What's happening to me..?" She asked in confusion.
"I'm not sure.. Let me ask Chase..."

Mr. Davenport, Chase, Leo, and I brought her into Lab 2, we tested her on a few things, everything she touched, turned into clear ice, the reflexes of her hands, shoot out ice-grenades, every time she breathes heavily, a swirl of cold-frozen wind forms.

"I think... You may have found your main ability.." Mr. Davenport said.
"Or she might have unlocked a hidden ability.." I pointed out.
"This is no hidden ability, this is her main one.. She's the only one in the whole academy who can do this.." Chase replied.
"Cool... So I can freeze things?" Cece was about to touch Mr. Davenport.
"Don't even try it.." Mr. Davenport mumbled, "you don't know how to control your ability yet, you have to be careful with what you do or touch.."
"Got it..." Cece nodded, "Oops.."
"You'll have to wear these for now..." He handed Cece a pair of black leather gloves with pink stripes at the side.
"They're cute I guess.." Cece smiled, everyone stared at her, "what? They are..." She shoved them on.
