the coffee shop

"You've got the job!"

Im on my way to the coffee shop that just opened up, I wanna be a barista..this is the perfect opportunity. 

the uber pulls up to the side of the building, I pay him and get out, im excited. I walk in and a faint smell of black coffee hits my nose, I walk over to the counter, "may I help you?" a girl asks, " I have an interview" I say smiling. " come with me", she says walking to a little office, I follow her in, theres a guy in there, hes quite a bit older than I am, " hello, mrs y/l/n" he says putting his hand out to shake yours, you shake his hand and then sit down, he looks at some papers on his desk before looking back up at me, " interview huh? have you ever had any bartending experience?" he asks, " I did once, not professionally but, I used to bar tend at parties." I say, smiling. " alright then" he says looking back down at his papers, he asks me a few more questions like what coffees I can make and if that I would need to get along with the crew, which I had no problem doing, " you've got the job!" he says, putting his hand out again, you take it shaking it, " thank you mr..?" , you ask" mr. Kent"he replies smiling " thank you mr.kent!" you say standing up, " do I start today?" you ask , " no, you start tomorrow, I have to find someone to train you." you smile, nod and walk out. you walk back home and call your best friend. 

" I got the job!" you say excited over the phone, " good job y/n, is the boss hot?" she asks, " ewwwww meg no! hes like 50!" I say sounding offended, " you've always liked the older ones" say says, you can hear her smirking through the phone, " hes gross, plus, ive never liked someone 30 years older then me other then Johnny depp thank you very much!" you say offended again. she laughed and so did I. " alright I have to go now, I need to find an outfit." I say, " bye bestieeee" she says and we hang up. I get up to go find a cute outfit, I find a cute pink-ish light weight sweater crop top, and a cute overalled blue jean dress to go over it.
