Piercing amber orbs met mine.
Almost as if I were compelled, everything spaced out and suddenly it was just me and him all alone in the auditorium. Someone tapped on my shoulder, breaking me out of the trance I was in.
"That was breathtaking! Thank you, Calliope!" said the host with a genuine smile.
"No, thank you for providing me with such an amazing opportunity," I replied with a small smile. With that, I left the stage, my mind still wavering off to the amber-eyed stranger. God! my hopeless romantic self can't ever seem to stop imaging foolish situations. I get down from the stage walk towards my dressing room. Today has been tiring, I don't know how Kyle does this every single day! I wipe my head off and walk towards the bathroom and take shower.
10 minutes later
I walk out of the shower in my robe but suddenly hear the sound of a vase crashing on the ground. I look around in search of the culprit only to find nobody. Stay calm, Callie, I think. I suddenly remember the host saying that there was a phone here to be used in case of emergency. Spotting it on the table to my right, I pick it and dial 200 which called the security to my room.
"H-hello? I think someone broke into my dressing room." I whispered.
"Okay, ma'am, I need you to stay calm and do not hang up." replied a voice from the other line. Calm, he's asking me to be calm! easier said than done. I look here and there in search of the intruder but am greeted with nothing.
*BANG*
"Excuse me, miss it's security. Open up." said a deep gruff voice from the either side of the door. Instant relief fills me and I sprint towards the door and open it.
"Are you okay miss?" asked a man wearing a suit.
"Y-Yes, I-I think s-so." I replied stuttering.
3rd Person POV
As the security checked the room, a pair of eyes watched their every move.
"Soon my dear." he whispered an walked out.
