3. Thoughts and Invites

TW: I'm gonna stop putting them because I don't want to ruin the chapter.

I'm in so much pain.

My whole body hurts.

The memories from last night starting rushing back in as I sat up in bed with my eyes still closed.

"Shit" I mumbled.

I can't do that again, I'm stopping.

Never again.

I sit up and lay against my wall behind me.

Todays gonna be a long day. I thought to myself.

Just as I was reaching for my phone it went off. None other than my big brother.

Wilbur Soot.

"hey tom, you okay?"

"hey!, yeah I'm ok, what's up?"

"ok can you get in vc4?"

"uh yeah"

I just joined through my phone because honestly I don't want to get up.

"Tommy!"

"Hi Will"

"Hey Dream has a question for you."

"With-" I glance and count the amount of people in vc.

Tubbo, Techno, Wilbur, George, Sapnap, Niki, Phil, Dream, Himself and Fundy.

"Eight other people in the vc"

"He already asked us the same question he's going to ask you Tommy!" said Niki, politely.

"oh?"

"ASK HIM!" Tubbo yelled as he's screamed caused a ringing in my ear.

"ok ok, Tommy. We are wondering if you would join us in Florida for two weeks. Think of it was a gift from me for being there. I just need to know so Wilbur can pick up you and Tubbo tomorrow."

I could hear everyone's voices begin to fade in the background as my mind started to race.

What if they find out?

"tommy?" Niki said in her sweet toned voice.

"oh um yeah let me go ask my parents."

I knew they would say yes, anything to get me out of the house. especially if it was for 2 weeks.

I quickly went downstairs to see my mom taking her pills with a beer bottle and my dad on the couch.

"ma'am?"

"what child?"

"May I go to Florida for two weeks?"

"ask your father."

I walked over to my dad, sitting peacefully on the couch.

"Sir?"

"hm?" he hummed.

"Mother told me to ask you if I could go to Florida for two weeks."

"Yeah, leave by tonight before I change my mind."

"yes sir, thank you"

"whatever, out. now."

I quickly walked back to my room to sit at my desk, forgetting that I was on my phone and it was in my pocket.

Unmuted. Again.

"they said yeah, I just have to leave by tonight..."

"we heard." Phil said.

"ok um I don't have anywhere to go."

"I'll come pick you up in 20 toms, be ready."

"thanks Will."

"of course."

"hey I got to go pack but ill see you guys soon."

I heard a few 'goodbyes' and some 'safe travels'.

I disconnected from the call and threw my phone on my bed.

I'm gonna get bombarded with questions once I get in Wills car and I know it.

Whatever.

I don't care.

I realized that will said he would be here in 20 minutes so I quickly jumped to my feet and walked to the bathroom. completely ignoring the amount of dizziness going on in my head.

I decided I would take a ten minute shower and then pack.

I was all done packing and Will was already outside my house waiting. I was wearing a red hoodie and some jeans to make me look bigger than I was.

Because under the clothing. I look like an anorexic zebra. Mostly because I am.

I also haven't eaten yet and a I know if I don't eat Wilbur will have a fit. I walked downstairs to go out to Wills car when.

"Tom"
"yes ma'am?"
"where are you going?"
"Father said I had to leave before tonight so he wouldn't change his mind on me leaving for Florida."
"Well before you go c'mere"
I hesitantly walked over to her.
"yes?"
She's fucking high.
"I love you sweetheart"
"I love you too"

I knew she was lying and that she was higher than a fucking kite but if i didn't say it back she would of hit me.

"get out" snarled father.
"yes sir"

That was the last thing I said before I left for Florida. Dad was drunker than drunk but it's okay because it's normal.

I got to Wills car and got in the passages seat.

"Hi Tommy"
"Hi"
"You okay?"
"yeah" i said looking at him.
"I'm peachy" I said looking him in the eyes.
"that's....good"
"you all packed then?" he asked to make the awkward tension go down a bit.
"yep"

Will drove for a bit and we had small talk here and there before he asked the question he's been wanting too.
"Tommy?"
"yeah?"
"what did you call me for last night?"
"I don't know what you mean."
"Tom you said you needed help."
"I was probably sleep walking or something."
"Okay"
I lied.

I wasn't sleeping.

I was bleeding.

We soon pulled up to Wilburs house where we would be staying for the next 2 days before we were suppose to leave for Florida.

Little did I know those two days would be extremely needed.

anyways for those who couldn't or didn't read tommy got the invite to go to florida and his father made him leave before night fall so he didn't change his mind. wilbur picked him up and now we are here.
