𝐨𝐫𝐛𝐢𝐭 - 𝐧𝐚𝐨

i hope you like this :)𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐚 𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 couldn't say she had a specific passion (aside from her job: working as a youth scout for arsenal fc), unless you counted a passion for learning new skills: one week it was knitting, the next it was learning french, or painting, or once even animation.
none of them really lasted long. however, given that luna couldn't really cook particularly well, she had decided to try cooking & baking, and she was determined to make this hobby last.
'what are you doing?' 𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐨 asked as he walked into the kitchen. luna appeared to be trying to fight an electric whisk.
'i'm trying to make cookies.' luna responded, and pedro recognised the determined edge to her voice, 'i just can't get any of it right.'
'how about i try help you?' pedro smiled, 'maybe together we can do it?'
luna smiled gratefully at him, 'i think i could definitely use some help.' she decided to ignore the swarm of butterflies in her stomach. she knew that she and pedro were just friends, but all the same, it didn't diminish the feelings she had for him, as much as she tried to forget them.
twenty minutes (and one flour fight) later, there was a batch of respectable (if a little misshapen) cookies in the oven.
'how the hell are we going to clean up this mess?' luna gasped, turning around to survey her kitchen. pedro giggled, 'i didn't realise quite how much flour we threw around.'
'i blame you entirely for that.' luna sighed, 'i told you it was a bad idea.'
'you did not!' pedro exclaimed, 'i seem to recall your first reaction being to grab a handful of flour and throw it straight back at me.'
'either way, we need to get this cleaned up.' luna quickly changed the subject.
pedro sighed, 'but that's the boring bit!'
'if you want cookies, you have to help me clear up.' luna responded, 'otherwise i'll eat them all.'
'can we eat them now?' pedro asked a few minutes later. the kitchen was marginally cleaner than it had been, and it was about time for the cookies to come out of the oven.
'let's just see how they're doing.' luna peered into the oven through the glass door and scrutinised the cookies. they had spread out quite a lot, and looked pretty big (to her delight) and she could smell the warm, chocolatey scent of them.
'i think they're ready.' she declared, 'pass me those oven gloves please.'
it was all luna could do to stop pedro from eating all the cookies as soon as they came out of the oven, but thankfully they cooled quickly, and soon enough they were ready for eating.
'you have chocolate on your face.' luna murmured, glancing over at pedro. she hadn't noticed how close they were, and a storm of butterflies were released in her stomach.
'do i?' pedro looked up, meeting her eyes.
'i'll get it for you.' luna whispered, and leaned forwards. pedro leaned towards her, and their lips met.
'you've got some chocolate on your face too.' pedro smiled as they pulled away, and he pulled her into a kiss again.
