The IPEC Method was originally developed to eliminate allergies, food intolerances, and immune system disorders. The method works on reprogramming cellular memory and eliminating the allergic reaction with the use of Chinese acupressure meridian points. In a way, it works similarly to immunotherapy, but much faster.

The IPEC Method stands for "Integrated Physical Emotional Clearing" and was developed some 20 years ago by Dr. Uri Kenig (PhD) and Adi Shaanan and is drawing its inspiration from Chinese medicine (the Meridian system); Indian medicine (the chakra system); Kabbalist medicine (the medicine behind the energy of written Hebrew letters and texts); homeopathic medicine; the world of psychotherapy, and ("muscle testing"). Throughout the years, the founders of the IPEC Method discovered it works very effectively with a wider range of emotional and psychosomatic disorders as well, and the scope of the symptoms that could be treated was expanded.

What is cell memory?

Our body consists of 70% water. These waters are what make us who we are. They are the living energy force that allows our cells to function properly. All of our bodily functions are based on these waters' behavior. They remember everything that passed through them. They are influenced by every change in current.

Our immune system has an important role - to catalog and remember anything intrusive, harmful or traumatic that happened to us in order to guard the body better next time it encounters the same trauma.

This is a very important mechanism of our body. The problem starts when our immune system (or other cells) are exposed to a trauma and remember it all too well, creating a classical conditioning that interrupts the body's health (this is called the ). A classic example would be being in a car accident, and having the immune system remembering the tree pollen that just so happened to be in the air at the time, cataloguing it as a dangerous substance that from now on needs to be attacked or guarded by. These misclassifications happen all the time without us realizing it. A client told me once, when we were working on his severe allergies to dust, that during our session he suddenly felt as though he was smelling the odor of the dusty sand he was exposed to in his difficult army training. He remembered being so close to the ground, suffering, when dropping to do another agonizing series of pushups, that he almost couldn't breathe since his nose was so close to the Earth. The source of all these misclassifications of the immune system are done so by our unconscious, so there is almost no way we can become aware of all of it. Almost. This is where the genius diagnostic technique muscle testing comes in.

Muscletesting

Muscle testing is a technique discovered in the 1960's by Dr. George Goodheart, a chiropractor, as part of a method developed by him called Applied Kinesiology. Muscle testing is used extensively as a diagnostic tool in many healing methods, including the .

During the diagnosis process, the client is asked to lift their hand. The practitioner then creates a gentle pressure to activate the upper arm and shoulder muscles. If the hand can resist the pressure - the muscles are strong. If it can't - the muscles are weak.

I use muscle testing in 3 different ways:

1. Testing materials and substances.

If we are sensitive to a material, our muscles will be weaker when exposed to it. That is a very useful instrument to check for allergens, sensitivities and basic functions of the body. There are a few advantages for muscle testing when compared with a conventional allergy test: First, as opposed to a conventional allergy test, muscle testing is non-invasive, because the substance is not being introduced into the body under the skin, but simply focusing on the response through the muscular system, and therefore is much safer. Second, muscle testing has an advantage when checking physical conditions which are impossible to check with a conventional allergy test, such as sensitivity to changing seasons, air conditioning etc.
