In this Henry is an abandoned 5 year old and doesnt have the best speaking ability from his lack of education. Ray is 28. Charlotte and Jasper are not in this one shot and Schwoz isn't a main character in this one.

Henry's POV:
I'm rwally cold and hungwy. Mummy and daddy didnt want me.

They hurt me rwally bad. They told me I deserved the ouchie but I dont know why.

My daddy dwagged me to the park and told me to find some else to live on my own.

I'm scared.

I start to walk a little. It starting to rain and I start cwying.

After about 10 minutes of walking, I'm not sure I no good with number, I see a shop. I no go in cause I no wanna get in twouble. I sit down and lean against the wall.

After a while a tall man starts walking close to the shop. He do not see me at first but I whimper in fear causing him to look wight at me.

Ray's POV:
I am on my way back to Junk n Stuff/ the man cave from Starbucks.

Just as I approach the shop entrance I hear frightened whimper. I look down by the wall to see a small child. He looks around 4 or 5.

He was staring at me in fear. I slowly approach him and crouch down in front of him.

"Hey buddy." I say in a calm voice.

His fearful face doesn't change but he does answer me.

"Hi."

"What's your name and how old are you love." I ask.

I'm trying to find information about him so I can help.

"H-henwy and I am 5." He says

I smile softly before asking another question.

"Were are you parents little guy?"

He no longer looks scared but he does look sad.

"They give me ouchie then they leave me at park cause they dont want Henwy anymowe." He starts crying.

I open my arms and he crawls into them. I wrap him in a big hug before picking him up.

"I'm Ray. Would you,like to come with me for a bit?" I ask softly.

He nods.

I walk into the store and into the back. When I get to the elevator I walk in and press the down button.

"Hold onto me tight kid." I say. He holds on before the floor drops from beneath my feet. He screams but they were not screams of fear. They were screams of happiness.

I walk into the man cave and place him down on the U shaped couch.

"WOW!" Henry exclaimed.

I stand in front of him.

"Do you like super heroes?" He nods.

"Who is your favourite one?" I ask.

His face lights up before he shouts happily.

"CAPTAIN MAN!"

I smile before crouching down. I whisper in his ear.

"Wanna know a secret?"

"Ye."

"I'm Captain man and this is the man cave."

He looks shocked.

I grab some of my 'special' gum.

"I'm gunna blow a bubble." I say chewing.

"You're gonna blow a bubbwe?"

I nod.

"And I'm gunna blow your mind." I say before blowing the bubble and changing into Captain Man.

He squeals before jumping up and hugging me tight.

**later that day**
I had spent the day talking to Henry and just trying to make him happy.

All of a sudden Henry's stomach grumbles and he blushes.

"Cmon love let's get you some food." I say before giving him some chicken nuggets and fries.

At he finished eating I noticed he was getting tired.

"Right, time for best mister." I said picking him up.

He just nods while cuddling into my chest. I carry him into the guest room and then change him into one of my t-shirts that he can wear to bed.

"Goodnight Henry."

All I get in response are light snores.

Henry's POV:
The next morning I woke up in mister Ray's gwest bed.

I climb out of bed and run into the main area. I sit down next to Ray and he looks at me.

"Hen I need to have a chat with you." He says softly.

"Otay." I said nervously.

"So I was wondering if you would like me to adopt you. You don't have to call me dad if your not comfortable but I'd love to look after you?"

I smile brightly.

"Yes pwease Ray!" I scream excited.

I was finally getting the life I always wanted.

**12 years later**
That was 12 years ago. I am now 17 years old and I am also Ray's sidekick. Known as Kid danger.

Ever since he adopted me my life has been amazing.

He isnt just a super hero. He is my hero.
