Giyu didn't even look tired there was not a single drop of sweat on him. You on the other hand......let's just say you weren't the prettiest sight. You decided to quickly stop and rest for a bit you were getting dizzy of the lack oxygen you had in your system.
You took a break sipping on the water that helped relax your whole body.At this time giyu took a sip staring at you.
"We can rest if you want you look pretty tired?"
"It's fine! We're gonna be late" You said as you braced yourself and took of.
Giyu had put his bottle away and started jogging after you.
You knew if you were to waste any more time more and more people would be in danger. You wanted to get there as fast as possible.

The village almost looked abounded by the time you and giyu had got there.
"Do you hear that" giyu wispered slowly crouching down
"Hear what?" You said as you crouched down you couldn't hear anything it was completely silent.
"Exactly that's the problem. Usually around this time you'd at least hear the birds or see some kids playing. But it's silent"
You gulped as you started to get anxious he was right there was not a single person or animal in sight
"This place is two big we should split up" you knew that would be the fastest way to cover everywhere and it was the only option if you wanted to get out of here by today.
"Be careful got it?" he said as he glared at you.
"You two after you finish looking around meet back here" you said as you turned around making your way through the worn out path.
You could feel the sweat in your palms making it harder for you to grip your sword properly. You had made sure to heighten all of your senses, in an area like this your sense of smell and hearing would be perfect for this mission.
When you finally made it to a opening on the path you were hit with the sent of blood. But no demons. You looked around analysing your surroundings. The village wasn't destroyed just very empty so empty it was unsettling.
The smell of blood got stronger as you made your way to the second house. Even though their was no sent of a demon you thought it would be best to have your sword out ready. As you opened the door a rotten smell engulfed your nostrils making it impossible to breathe.
You ran outside crouching down to the ground throwing up. You've never smelt anything like that in your life. The bodies must have been there for awhile the smell was a rotten foul smell not fresh at all. You picked yourself up from the ground balancing your weight onto the sword using it as a support beam.
If the bodies have been their for awhile that could've meant the demon is already long gone by now. As bad as it sounded you hoped it wasn't here the small glimpse you got of the bodies showed it wasn't any normal demon. They all had parts of flesh missing out of them along with their eyes. I'm guessing they must have been a family by the similarity in there appearances.
Although you had a pretty good guess that the demon had already left it was still your job to check everywhere else. You made your way down the steps in front of the house getting ready to check the next house in-line. As you made it onto the path another sent formed behind you. But that was impossible you had already checked the house and their was nothing there. You took in the sent one more time making sure you were not hallucinating and turned around. There was no mistake it was a demon.
The demon appeared to be a young girl around 16 years old. She had very long hair that was as dark as the night and red glowing eyes that sent shivers down my spine. Her long dress almost appeared to be red at first but you could see the difference in colour from the white and the blood that stained the dress.
The most unsettling part was the smile that was carved into her face and the different parts of flesh that was missing all over her body.
"Why are you ruining my fun. My village don't mess with my work" the girl had spoke in a deep tone that was way to deep to be a teenage girl.
Thankfully you had already got your sword out ready to fight. The only thing left to do was to take that demon down.
As you took your first step towards the demon it had disappeared.
"Wait what?" You would have seen it move but you didn't it had just disappeared along with its sent.
Just like that the sent had returned but this time right behind you. Before you could react a strong kick sent you flying over to the house you had just been in.
You were knocked out of breath when your back hit the hard wall. Lucky something had cushioned your fall when you fell back down. You looked forward seeing the demon approach slowly. Just then you had noticed your surroundings you had been kicked through the wall and landed on something soft. As you tried to get up a foul stench had entered your nostrils. As you looked down you could see the maggots and bugs crawl out of the young boys eyes that had broken your fall.
