"Hey calm down," the dark dressed woman said with her hands up. "Please don't hurt me." Her eyes looked down at the pointed taser in Christine's hands. The wisping wind of the graveyard whistled playfully playfully in between their silent stances. Neither would make a move first until Christine finally stopped clenching her body and lowered her weapon.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Christine exhaled and crunched to her knees. "You scared the hell out of me."

"You're the one with the taser lady. I understand its tough being a woman, but try and be less trigger happy," the woman immediately relaxed confidently and brushed her clothes off. She wore a dark denim jacket and tight black jeans. She analyzed Christine with her sharp cat eyes traced in thick eye liner and eventually smiled with lips dressed in purple lipstick. She passed an image in Christine's mind of Diana all grown up.

"I'm sorry - I have been..." Christine stopped just shy of sharing the writing of blood on her wall. She didn't know this woman, but felt a sense of comfort in her presence. "I just have a stalker and its been driving me insane."

"That sounds terrible I'm sorry. I can't say I haven't been there. I'm Nadine by the way." Christine put her taser back in her bag and met Nadine's outreached hand. Her hand was cold and sleek like marble compared to Christine's beat red hand from clenching.

"Christine. I saw some shadow of a person behind this tree here and swore to God that I was going to face them right then and there."

"I like your attitude. They would deserve it." Nadine said, now dusting off her hands.

"They?"

"Your stalker. A man. Men."

Christine paused before nodding. She tried to think deep into her past to find any enemies she could think of, men in particular. The only one that came to mind was the person she was visiting at the graveyard. She looked back towards the direction where he rested.

"So what are you here for?" Christine said.

"I actually like to read here. It's peaceful." Nadine said pulling a book from her bag. The Scarlett Letter.

"That sounds like a good idea. Don't you find it morbid though?"

"Anymore morbid then why you're here? Visiting the dead, digging up the past, and so on?" Nadine said pointing with her book. Christine shook her head and thought about the possibility of her father rising from the dead and writing on her wall with the blood of Sally Marioti. We know.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Christine looked around frightfully at the sound of a fly buzzing. Even here? She quickly distracted herself by blurting out. "Would you like to grab some coffee or something?"

"I'd be lying to you if I said this was the first time I've ever been asked out at a graveyard. Security guards, the grave diggers...its gross, but first time by a woman."

Christine tugged upward on the collar of her shirt nervously. "Do you get asked out a lot by women?"

Nadine smiled and began to walk away towards to exit road. She turned back and waved her to follow.
