I haven't been crying when I was alone,but when Mduh came,tears escaped my eyes.
Me : "Please take me to the hospital.", I said sobbing
Mduh : He quickly ran to me, "Look what he did do to you!" He said trying to touch my face.
Me : " Mduh,I really need to be at the hospital,I don't think the baby is still okay."
He looked at me,and quickly grabbed me rushing towards the door,I couldn't read the emotions on his face right now,he buckled me on the car seat, "Is there anything you're going to need?" he asked, closing the door on my side.I didn't have words to reply,only tears flowing down my face.The thing is,this is the first pregnancy where I got to three months,you know my stomach had started showing,I really hoped this baby will make it and we've bonded,I love this baby,if anything happened to her,I'm going to die.Mduh was driving very fast,he took a cellphone from his pocket and dialled a number,
Mduh :"Stix, do you remember that gangster I asked you to tail?Yes,that one,please take care of him.I don't know man,make a plan.Yeah,make it looks like an accident,burn him into ash." he hung up and glanced at me then concentrated on the road.I really wanted to know what they were talking about,but that's the least of my worries now,my baby is my first priority.We drove to Midlands Medical Centre, luckily my gynaecologist only had one patient,Mduh waited with me,and I was called in,he stayed behind.I entered and told the doctor everything,she was busy writing down and she booked me an emergency ultrasound.We went to the ultrasound,she applied the gel on my stomach and did her thing,I was so concentrated on the screen,I then heard the heartbeat.
Doctor : "See" , she said pointing on the screen, "The girl is fine and healthy." She said smiling.
My heart melted,I thanked God for keeping this baby for me,a tears escaped my eyes,tears of joy.
Doctor : "The thing is,there we two babies,we lost the boy.I'd like to admit you and have you here for a day,so we can monitor you,your blood pressure and let you rest."
I asked the doctor to let Mduh see the baby,he came and doctor showed him a baby,his mood changed,he looked at me,I noticed his eyes were glassy,he asked the doctor if he could hug me,the doctor said it's okay.He came and hugged me, "You made it, she's okay." He said kissing my forehead.The tear escaped from my eye,he wiped it with his palm,held my hand and kissed it.
Only if I married Mduh,I'd be happy, this guy has humanity,he cares about others feelings and he doesn't go around beating women.
I told him that doctor wants to keep me for a day.I was admitted at a martenity side ward.Mduh accompanied me there, remember I came here with nothing.
We arrived at the ward, there's a television,a shower and a couch.
Me : "Thanks Mduh for bringing me here, thanks for arriving earlier,atleast my other baby is okay."
Him : " What do you mean by the other baby?"
Me : " I was carrying the twins,I lost the boy."
He didn't say anything,he just came,sat next to me and hugged me,I cried until I had a burning hedache.He took a tissue from a locker and gave it to me.I wiped my tears.
Him : "I'll be back,there are some things I need to take care of,get some sleep." He said kissing my cheek,and left.The thing is spending time with Mduh,made me fall for him,I can't tell the same about my husband,that guy scares me to death and what I know is I HATE HIM WITH EVERYTHING IN ME.I stayed there daydreaming about how would be my life if I was with Mduh until I fell asleep.
