NOMBULELO.
We were now watching TV ,me laying on the couch with my head on Mduh's thighs, while he's brushing my
messy hair while concentrating on the tv. The silence right now,you could hear the needle falling
on the floor I'm telling you. I then decided to break it,the silence.
Me :" I haven't find the strength to open the letter."
Him :"I've been wanting to ask you what was it about,I thought it was the reason I found you on that
condition you were in when I arrived."
Me :"It wasn't it,I've been having flashbacks about everything that's been happening here but I don't
remember anything before this house, it's like my life just started here you know."
Him :" I'm sorry about that but you have to read it and I can read it for you if you want.
About memories and flashbacks I think we should start looking for a house and find someone you can
talk to about everything."
Me : "I'll read it when I'm ready and about the house,we really should start looking for another one, I no longer want to be here."
We sat like that and talked until midnight when I was sleepy then Mduh left and I went to sleep.
I woke up from the dream where I dreamt Zulu apologizing for the pain he has caused me and begging me to read the letter so that I'd find answers.After the dream I couldn't sleep anymore,I kept tossing and turning until I decided to read the letter. I
mean it shouldn't be that bad right,he said I'll find myself on the letter and I want to find myself. I woke up
and opened the headboard drawer and took out the envelope,when I was about to read it,I started
shaking and sweating,Ieft it there and went to drink water,
another part of me wants to know what's on the letter but another part of me doesn't want to. I then
sat on the floor and took the letter,I saw that it was dated the day before he passed,the day I last saw him.
I opened the letter and started reading it.
"Nombulelo, by the time you read this letter I'll be dead I can feel it.
Firstly, I'm sorry for all the pain I've caused you. So that you can be able to move on with your life,in your room at the back of that picture there you'll find a safe, the pin is your date of birth.You'll find all your documents there.The day I abducted you,you were looking for the school at Durban but I disturbed,I wanted to use you for my dirty ways but I couldn't because you were too innocent and pure.You were the opposite of what was needed for my sacrifices. I couldn't kill you or take you back to where I found you so I made you forget everything about you and made you my wife.
Please go and look for your family,they need you, please forgive me so that you can move on with your life. I left you some money, please further your studies.

The time I finished I was literally crying,how dare he? I got on top of the bed and cried myself to sleep
until I was woken up my vibrating phone,I answered without looking at the caller ID,only Mduh calls
me.
Me ;"Hey."
Mduh :"hey, are you still sleeping?"
Me :"You woke me up."
Him :"I've been knocking for too long."
Me :"I'm coming"
I woke up leaving my bed messed as it was and still on my pyjamas.I went and opened for him.
Him :"and you're crying because?"
I didn't answer him,I just opened the windows and went to the lounge and did the same,with him
following me around. I sat on the couch and he did the same.
