Dumb Rumors...

(Tenko's POV)

Class was finally over and I was starving. I looked at Himiko's empty desk and sighed. "When she comes back should I ask her to eat lunch with me? No she's still mad at me..."  I groaned and slammed my head on my desk.

"That looked like it hurt..." I turned around to see Rantaro hovering over my desk and Korekiyo behind him. "Oh uh, yeah-" I rubbed my forehead and quickly looked away.

"Oh gosh this is so awkward..."

All of a sudden Korekiyo turned Rantaro around annoyed and whispered something in his ear that was too quiet for me to understand. And as always, Rantaro did his nervous laugh.

"Can they leave now-"

Finally when they both stopped whispering to each other Rantaro walked back to my desk and said "Um sorry to bother you, but uh me and Korekiyo where wondering if you could eat lunch with us today?" I froze. "He's kidding right?"

"Huh!? M-Me? We barely talk why all of a sudden do you guys-" Korekiyo sighed and said "We both have something to ask you, it's only for today is that alright with you? Or do you have to be around Himiko 24/7?" I was furious.

"Why is he annoyed for!? He's the one who walked up to me and started bothering me, just go away already you stupid beam poll and avocado man."

"No! Whatever, it's not like Himiko is here anyways... Let's get this over already." I mumbled as I stood up from my desk. I then grabbed my bag and headed for the classroom door." This is going to be a long lunch."  Rantaro sighed as he walked to the door behind me. Korekiyo mumbled something under his breath then opened the door so we could all walk out. "Why did I agree to this again!?"

EPIC TIMESKIP TO THE LUNCH ROOOMMMM

(Tenko's POV)

"Um, do we really have to go all the way to the back of the cafeteria?" I asked while getting dragged by Korekiyo and Rantaro. "Yes. I don't want people like Miu an Kokichi hearing our conversation, they'd make things very horrid." Rantaro laughed and sat me down in my seat. "Did you really have to say horrid?" "Just shut up and go get Tenko's lunch already you insolence foul." Korekiyo snarled handing Rantaro 10 dollars. "Okay okay-" Rantaro sighed as he grabbed the money and headed to the lunch line.

"Why are they even hanging out together, I thought they hated each other-" I thought as I laid my head in the table.

Korekiyo then sat down and stared at me until Rantaro came back. I could tell he had something on his mind, but I was too scared to ask. After a while finally, I built up the courage and said "Hey can I-"

"Sorry for the wait! Here's your food Tenko!" Rantaro smiled putting the lunch tray in front of me. "Finally, now sit down." Korekiyo rolled his eyes. I thanked Rantaro and started eating. "Okay can we start now? This has gone on way too long." Korekiyo groaned. "Y-yes! So, what do you guys want to talk about?..." I said shoving my lunch into my mouth. Rantaro and Korekiyo looked at each other, then looked at me. And at the same time they said "Are the rumors true?" I sat there confused. "Rumors?... What rumors? Is it about that one where I don't know how to tie my shoes!? I SWEAR I-" Rantaro cleared his throat signaling me to calm me down so I shut my mouth. Rantaro sighed then said "No. Is it true you and Himiko are dating!? I heard from Kaede you both made out in-"  "W-WHAT!? N-NO! WE'RE BARELY EVEN FRIENDS! W-WE HAVEN'T EVEN HELD HANDS YOU STUPID DEGENRATES!" I screamed interrupting him. "Oh really? Then why are you so flustered?" Korekiyo snickered.

"W-what!?"  I put my hands on face and felt it burning. "I heard people say during detention you and Himiko snuck out and went to the bathroom. And after that you didn't come back, isn't that a little suspicious?..." Korekiyo questioned looking directly at me. "I SWEAR WE D-DIDN'T DO ANYTHING YOU PERVERTS! THAT'S IT. I-I'M LEAVING." I grabbed my bag off my chair and stood up. "WAIT COME BACK-" I heard Rantaro yell. But I ignored him and stormed out the lunch room.

I tried to calm myself down and sat down in the hallway. "WHO DOES HE THINK HE IS!? THINKING HE CAN SAY ANYTHING AND GET AWAY WITH IT. A-AND WHOEVER STARTED THAT STUPID RUMOR I HOPE YOU, YOU-" I couldn't help but cry out of frustration. "WHAT IF HIMIKO HEARD OUT THE RUMOR!?" I pulled my legs into my chest trying to hide myself. "She probably thinks I'm disgusting....."

"Nyeh, Who are you talking about?"

I froze. "H-Himiko!?" I looked up and saw Himiko standing in the hallway with her hands behind her back as if she was hiding something.

"Huh? W-Why are you crying???" Himiko quickly rushed over my side. "STUPID TENKO. NOW SHES WORRIED." Trying not to worry Himiko, I wiped away my tears and smiled. "Don't worry Himiko! I-I'm perfectly fine! Don't worry about it okay?" Himiko glared at me, then handed me some tissues from her pocket. "Sigh Why are you always like this? If you don't want to talk about it, it's fine. Just don't push your feeling away..." I grabbed the tissues and cleaned my face. "You're right, I'm sorry Himiko. I was just super angry about what those two idiots Rantaro and Korekiyo said to me...."

I laid my head on Himiko's shoulder, and to my surprise she didn't push me away.

"Those jerks, especially Korekiyo... Don't listen to anything they say, all of it is garbage anyways." Himiko huffed. I couldn't help but laugh at Himiko's angry face. "She's so cute when she's mad- SHUSH DON'T RUIN THIS MOMENT." Instead of getting more angry, Himiko smiled. "Nyeh, I'm glad you're feeling better. A-Also, I wanted to say I'm sorry..." I quickly sat up and turned to her. "For what!? You didn't do- Oh..." Himiko sighed and mumbled "Yeah I was rude, I didn't mean it any of it though! I was a total-" "N-NO IT'S ALL MY FAULT! I WAS JUST BEING ANNOYING! I'M SORRY!" I yelled interrupting her. "How about we just agree to stop fighting over dumb these things?" Himiko mumbled as she played with her fingers. I sighed with relief "Yes please-" Then the both of us laughed about how dumb all of this was.

I was relieved Himiko didn't think I was annoying or disgusting, even if it was for a little while I was happy.

After talking for a while Himiko exclaimed "Oh! I almost forgot!" Himiko turned around and grabbed something. "I'm surprised it hasn't melted yet. Here! I got this for you this morning, Angie said it was your favorite!" Himiko handed me some ice cream. "WOAH IT'S COTTEN CANDY FLAVORED!!! I'll definitely thank Angie for this! And apologize too..." I beamed with a smile and dug into my ice cream. "So, are we okay okay now?" Himiko asked as she turned to me. I smiled even bigger and said "Of course! Thank you so much Himiko!"

I moved over to Himiko and shared my ice cream with her. "I wish things could stay like this forever..."

ITS BEEN A MONTH. I WAS SUPPOSED TO FINISH THIS WAY EARLIER BUT I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE- But for real this time, I'll try to release the new chapter sooner!
