Yoonjin: Exhausted

Yoongi releases a sigh after going over the beat for a new song. He knows producing an album is a lot of work but it was never this tiring. To be fair, being pregnant does pose a challenge. He can't help but smile to himself. 

"Are you done?" Jin leans on the doorframe, staring lovingly at him from afar. 

Yoongi doesn't reply, instead he making a "c'mere" gesture with his fingers. He's too tired to talk. Jin stays willingly silent and engulfs his lover from behind. Yoongi melts into his touch, sighing to himself. How could he resist when his touch is so amazing? 

"Done," Yoongi states as he places his husband's hands on his waist. Jin grins at his movements. "Baby, do you wanna come back home with me? You've been holed up in here for two days now," Yoongi turns around to face his lover. He nods with a droopy smile.

Jin gazes at Yoongi, who was asleep in the passenger's seat. It came as no surprise that he was exhausted but something felt different. He took note of Yoongi's draped arm across his stomach. As he continued to stare, Jin thought about possibilities. Was he sick? Nah, he doesn't have a fever. He guessed it just came with the territory of being one of the main producers for the new album. He would have to further inquire when they arrived home.

As Jin carried Yoongi into the penthouse, he stirred his sleep, pulling his tall spouse closer. Even though they've been married 5 years, he still blushes from silly things. 

"Tch, Yoongi you are something else. You hole yourself up and then look absolutely adorable splayed on my couch," Jin strips of his tie and suit jacket, leaving him in his work shirt undone. Yoongi stirs in his sleep to get a peek of his glistening chest, causing him to turn red. 

"Oh, you're awake? Great. I have a question." Yoongi sits up tiredly and nods. "Would you mind telling me why you've been so tired lately? I know it is something besides the album," Yoongi snaps awake and avoids eye contact with Jin's concerned face. He fiddles with his rings on his lap. 

"Please, sweetheart, I just wanna help you." Yoongi's eyebrows gently raise up in guilt, does he tell him? 

Jin notices Yoongi wraps his arms around his stomach. His eyes open in realization, his husband was pregnant! How did he not notice all the signs, the changes in behavior (and appearance)? Instead of scaring his husband by the shock, he gently smiles and sits beside his worried spouse. 

Yoongi looks towards Jin in surprise, did he somehow catch on? Jin smiles softly while resting a hand on his stomach. The shock made Yoongi flinch. How could he have caught on? He wasn't this obvious right? 

Jin holds on to him regardless, picking up the quiet man and sitting him on his lap. The intimacy made Yoongi even shyer. Jin caresses his cheek silently, letting Yoongi be the first to speak. 

He eventually relaxes in his husband's embrace. "I am." Jin nods in encouragement, still holding tight. "I am 6 weeks." Jin grins and excitedly kisses him, catching Yoongi off guard. He blinks in surprise and smiles in relief. 

The two opted for being silent and enjoying each other's company. They had been separated for a few days and needed quiet time before revealing the news to their friends.
