"Did you remember to get the decorations, babe?" Yoongi calls out to Hoseok while making food with Jin for the expecting couple's gender reveal.

"Uh I did!" Hoseok replys, balancing several bags on his arms to the living room.

"Hey Jungkook?" "Yea?" "Namjoon still isn't back from the store?" Yoongi asks. Jungkook puts up streamers and shrugs.

Yoongi sigh, he was supposed to bring the balloons back. And the party was starting in a hour.

Hoseok comes and rubs his lover's back. "We'll get done, I promise. Taehyung and Jimin are already super grateful."

A hour passed and the party was pretty much ready to go except Namjoon finally showing up with the main thing.

"Im here!" Yoongi scoffs and Jungkook takes the balloons shyly to set up the reveal.

Hoseok leans into his spouse, "I'm pretty sure Kookie likes Joonie. Doncha think?" Yoongi nods in agreement at the statement.

"Alright its showtime guys! The guests are starting to arrive." Jin declares pushing the men towards the door to greet people except for Yoongi.

"Omg! I'm so happy for you!" Jin quietly squeals in the empty kitchen. "About what hyung?" Yoongi raises his eyebrows. "You're obviously pregnant!"

"I- uh... I am?" Yoongi was going to deny the claim but it would be useless. "When did you find out? Oh wait! Does Hobi know?" "N-No?" "Why not? He'd be so excited!" "Maybe later this week Jin hyung, but we have guests." The duo exit the kitchen to the already lively backyard with Taehyung and Jimin being surrounded.

"We're having a girl!" The duo cheers loudly and the group squeals and screams.

Hoseok flashes a bright smile to Yoongi, as he couldn't wait to have a child of his own.

Yoongi gives a gummy smile back as he was excited for the two and Jimin stares at Yoongi and winks.

"Did Jin hyung seriously tell him? Oh my-" "Jin hyung said what?" Hoseok asks his annoyed spouse. 
"Nothing." Yoongi replys. Hoseok cocks his head but doesn't question it further.

The reveal was over and the men thanked the guest and were cleaning up the backyard.

"Hey Jin hyung!" Hoseok calls out, Jin walks over to wonder what he needs. "What's up with Yoongles? He's been off all afternoon. Especially after talking to you." Hoseok says accusing Jin.

Jin rolls his eyes, "Ask your husband. He just has something he needs to tell." And Jin walks away to talk with the expecting Jimin.

"Yoongi?" Hoseok gently guides Yoongi to a secluded side of the yard. "Did you need to tell me something?" Yoongi gulps wide eyed at his lover.

"Well-" "Y'know you can tell me?" "I'mpregnantpleasedon'tleaveme." Yoongi rushes out in one sentence.

"Repeat?" Hoseok says with a sigh. "I'm... pregnant."

There was a defeating silence that swallowed Yoongi whole.

"Oh." "That's it? Are you angry?" "Of course not!" Hoseok defends himself. "Then what's wrong?"

"I just need time to process okay?" Hoseok walks away to continue cleaning up, leaving a devasted Yoongi.
