The lost memory Elena Gilbert x reader

The attack

"Good morning!" Elena exclaims rather loudly, while skipping in my bedroom.

"6am? You have nothing to do at 6am" I respond, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

"Come one we are going to defeat Kai today!" she responds with her cute little puppy dog eyes.

"Fine" I groan while pulling myself up to kiss her cheek.

She smiles and says "get dressed we have work to do" before skipping back out of the room.

I drag myself up and get dressed before heading downstairs to see Caroline smiling to herself in the Salvatore living room.

"And why are you so happy today miss forbes" I say playfully smiling at her.

She gives me a look that reads:
'you already know'

flashbacks of the moans coming from stefans room rush back to me.

"CAROLINE" I yell as stefan walks in, whistling to himself innocently.

Soon after Elena entered the room wrapping her arms around my waste.

"Hi again" I smile at her.

"Hii" She giggles tightening her grip slightly around me.

Damon and rose walk in giggling to themselves while whispering god knows what into each others ears.

I rolled my eyes at him and rose jokingly winked at me.

Soon after, the door slams open.
"Why good morning my friends" The one and only, Kai Parker said as he entered the room.

"Did you miss me" He says while walking over to us and standing in front of me like a lost puppy.

I just glare at him not showing any sign of emotion.

He slowly lift his mouth up into a devilish smirk before he shot Elena across the floor.

"Oops, did i do that? silly me, my hand must have slipped" He shrugs and walks out.

I scream and run over to her.
She wasn't breathing.

Tears started falling rapidly down my face before i screamed at the top of my lungs.

She was gone.
