I know it's none of my business but...

Something is strange about the Cullens and it's not because of their extremely pale skin and good looks. Their behavior is somewhat creepy and rigid. I would have taken no notice to it if it weren't for how weird Edward Cullen acts around Bella. How deeply Alice stares at us whenever we enter the room. How Jasper looks as though he may or may not kill the entire student body every time that I see him. And how Emmett stiffens up as soon as I am within 5 meters from him and well Rosalie is Rosalie.

It's weird. They're weird.

I was standing beside my wagon talking to Angela with an umbrella over my head since it was drizzling outside. She had given me a draft of the newspaper before it's released to see if I had any complaints. In short, it was well done and within the next few days, everyone at Fork's High will know who I am and where I come from.

"It's great! Thanks for skimming past my parents... I would've been uncomfortable if you had gone in-depth." She grins at me before rambling about all her thoughts when writing. I leaned against my car as I nodded to her thoughtfully, taking in her words. But a second was all I needed for my eyes to drift away towards my cousin who was sitting inside of her truck.

"Hey Angela, sorry to interrupt. I just need to speak with Bella about something before school starts." In reality, I just needed a little escape. Angela is an amazing friend but her hyperactive nature when comfortable can be a bit overwhelming. Bella on the other hand is quiet but I can only assume she has loud thoughts. But lately, she has been abnormally quiet and I can't help but assume it's because Edward Cullen hasn't been to school in the past week.

I'm not sure when she had become so attached to the boy but it was somewhat sad seeing her in Biology every day continuously fidget and glance at the empty seat beside her.

"Hey, Bella. Want to walk to Bio with me?" I offered, a look of relief washed over her face as she hopped out and quickly took shelter beside me from the huge droplets of rain crashing down.

"Forgot your umbrella?" I laughed quietly. She narrowed her eyes and bumped into me, I laughed even harder when she had done that. Eric had quickly stuffed himself under my umbrella as well, it wasn't big enough for all of us so we got soaked on a few parts of our bodies. When we rushed inside and made our way to class, I noticed Eric was showing special attention to Bella which gave me the sneaking suspicion he liked her.

I wasn't sure how Bella had whoo'd so many people within a few weeks but it was a sight to see. Eric rambled to her about something involving the paper before suddenly pausing.

"Hey, listen. I was wondering... Do you have a-a date to-" I smiled a bit as he was about to ask her before Mike came up and interrupted us. Flicking some water on our heads, I complained for a second before my eyes caught a figure sitting alone at a lab table. It was Edward.
