Naruto's sister (slow updates)

Chapter 1.

JUST A HEADS UP

I am not a fan of capital letters at the beginning of sentences. stupid I know. I do it where I can, I won't be using kun, chan, san in this very often. please comment if you get confused on something and I will change it. all criticism is welcome, but try to keep it constructive and not demeaning.
I'll try to stick to the main plot of naruto, but it'll split off a bit.

the main character's name is Pureshasu, it gets lots of nicknames such as Su, Pu, Shasu, Resha, Re, Puresha.
it means precious. (paareshasuu)

"Su! sit still!" Gaara snaps as you almost fall off his sand.
"aren't we there yet? why can't I walk." you mumble quietly.
"we'll get there in an hour. you don't need to walk. I can carry you" Gaara replies quickly.
you grumble and lie back on the platform of sand. looking up at the passing leaves and watching the clouds. your eyes slowly closing as you yawn and put your hood on. your fingers fiddling with the new locket tied around your neck. you spend your quick nap recalling the day you all left for Konoha.

FLASHBACK
you spent the morning looking in the mirror. your hair had grown again and now almost reaches your bum. you had been training with your sister lately and you had lost weight. your toned stomach being covered by your grey fishnet top which you planned to cover with a slightly tan cloak which you always wore outside.
It covered you, only showing your head and hands. You liked the warmth of it. despite being in the desert you were usually cold, and being able to disappear into the hood made you grow to love the cloak even more.
you wore red shorts down to your mid thigh and had fingerless gloves which covered the scar you got when you were younger. you sighed at your reflection contently as you tied up your hair into two braids. your red ninja sandals had the kanji letter for love on the straps covering the top of your feet. You had stitched them on, to copy your older brother Gaara.
"su! breakfast!" Temari calls from the kitchen downstairs.
you finish bandaging your cheeks, hiding the whiskers you've had since birth and you skip downstairs happily before sitting next to Kankuro.
"morning ani!" you call to your brother who just nods in response, you then dig in to the food in front of you.
"morning su" Gaara calls from the table. he had already finished his breakfast an hour ago and was now fiddling with a small green locket and his sand.
you finish your food and look with interest at your brother as he hands the locket to you.
"huh? brother? is this for me?" you gasped in joy as he nods slowly. you hold it gently as you notice it's made of a green kind of glass with a small silver hinge and sleek clasp, the kanji for love is engraved into it.
you quickly take the locket from his hand and you look intently at the contents, something red inside it was shifting as you turned it.
"sand?" Temari observed slowly.
"but why?" Kankuro asked.

"so that I can always find her. if she opens the locket then the sand will shoot back to me and I'll know where she is and that she needs me." he explained before walking out the door.
"so you won't know where she is unless she opens it" Kankuro mutters.
"grr, he's too protective. I'm not made of China" you snap. you stand and walk over to Temari to show her the locket. you frown inwardly at how small you were, 137.5 cm, you're the shortest in your family and in your class.
you fiddle with the locket and you open it curiously only to see the red sand shoot out the house through the gap underneath the door.

"oh... oops" you quickly mutter as Kankuro snickers.
Gaara's head shoots round the doorway of the now open door with a frown.
"Shasu, you're so stupid" he states as he sends the sand back into the locket and you shut it with a nervous chuckle before finally tying it round your neck.
"sorry Gaara. at least we know it works" you joked.
You suddenly feel yourself rising as Gaara says, "time to get going" he turns and you quickly grab your bag and cloak as you float out the door on a platform of gaara's sand.
