Chapter 10 The invasion begins

"Jarvis. Prepare Armor Mark VII." Tony command his A.I as he races to the Skytree. Still damage on his current suit now.

"Of course, sir." Jarvis replied.

After the battle on the Helicarrier, Iron Man is ahead of the heroes as he try to get to the tower to stop the alien invasion from Loki.

The machine build by the brainwashed scientists is at the tower now. The only person over there in front of the portal power machine is Erik Selvig, activating it with the Tesseract's power. (On top where 350m is of the tower)

"Sir, I've turned off the arc reactor," Jarvis informed Tony. "But the device is already self-sustaining."

"Shut it down, Dr. Selvig." Iron Man hover front of Selvig and demands to him.

"Its too late!" He turn his head to him and turn back at the computer. "She can't stop now. She wants to show us something! A new universe."

"Okay, I just had enough." He blasted on the device, however, a barrier form around it for protection and his attack bounce off back to him and made a small shockwave for Selvig knock out cold.

Tony is still hovering from that blast, but he doesn't know how long his suit's condition to last in a fight.

"The barrier is pure energy. It's unbreachable." Jarvis stated.

"Yeah, I got that." Said Tony. "Plan B." He goes to a open hatch on the roof for the entrance in the tower's restaurant for pro heroes with flying quirks.

"Sir, the Mark 7 is not ready for a little longer for deployment."

"Then skip the spinning rims. We're on the clock." Rushing his A.I.

"Yes, sir."

Tony lands in the restaurant and the God of mischief himself is front of the iron hero. He came out of his armor, (Donning system) and it flew back where his lab is, as he walks to the bar part of the restaurant and at the same time for Loki in a distance in the same way.

"Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity." Said the god.

"Actually, I'm planning to threaten you."

Loki scoffed. "You should have left your armor on for that."

"True." Stark still walking to the bar. "Its seen a bit of mileage, and you've got the glow stick of destiny." Pointed to his Scepter.

"Would you like a drink?" Tony offer his hospitality as he made it to the bar.

"Stalling me won't change anything." Loki declined the offer.

"No, no. Threatening. No drink? You sure? I'm having one." Tony ready to serve himself a drink from the bar.

"The Chitauri are coming. Nothing will change that. What have I to fear?" Said to Stark.

"The Avengers." He answer. Loki give a questionable look to him. "That's what we call ourselves by Dragon Girl. We're sort of like a team. 'Earth's mightiest heroes'-type thing." He shrugged, pouring his drink in the cup.

"Yes, I've met them."

"Yeah. It takes us a while to get any traction, I'll give you that one. But let's do a head count, here. Your brother, the demigod, a super soldier, a ninja theme hero Fury told us about." Checking his phone for his suit's deployment. "A man with breathtaking anger-management issues, a man with powerful fire Quirk, a couple of master assassins, a girl that turns into the creature from legend, a bug duo, the man who puffs his chest and smiles a lot, and you, big fella, you've managed to piss off every one of them." Tony listed all of them.
