Chapter 5 Loki's bargain

2 days before Phil Coulsan went to give information to Tony Stark...

Meanwhile at Might Tower...

After All Might's patrol routine. He is in his office making some green tea now. When Sir Nighteye. All Might's sidekick, opened the door to him.

"Excuse me, sir." Sir Nighteye calling to his partner.

"Ah, Nighteye. Care for cup of tea?" All Might offering to his sidekick.

"Someone named Nick Fury wants to see you." That very name struck in All Might's head.

He remember that night when he met the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D in his own home. And now he wants to see him now. But why he asked himself.

"So you want me to tell him you're not available or..."

"No, no. It's quite alright. Bring him in. I would like to speak to him privately please." He held his hand.

"Yes sir." Nighteye said. So he brought Fury in. And his sidekick left for them to speak in private.

All Might turned back in to his true form. And Fury started to spoke. "Enjoying your afternoon tea?" He asked.

"No. Not yet. Care for a cup of green tea, Nick?" Yagi offers him.

"Yeah, why not. A quick cup and that's it." So he sat on the chair and accept his offer of tea.

As both of them sitting, the table between them. Yagi poor some tea in his cup, than in Nick's. He served his cup. And enjoy that sense of tea. "I'll admit, I hadn't have a good cup every now and then." Nick put his cup down on the table, and then said, "But it's not the best time to enjoy a good cup now, for the faith of the entire world is at crisis."

Those words made Yagi confused a bit. "What? Why is that, Fury?"

The Director of S.H.I.E.L.D pull out a pod like device out of his pocket. Activating it, to show what he means.

"This is the Tesseract." Showing the hologram of the cube from the device. "The Tesseract holds unlimited sustainable energy. It's something the world sorely needs. Theory say it can be used to teleport anywhere across the universe. But it's been stolen by Loki." Showing the picture of Loki from the attack. "He's not from earth. He's from Asgard. If you read Norse mythology back in class. He's real, after we done our research so little about Asgard. He would use the Tesseract for something worse then anything, you could imagine. Are you willing to fight before chaos raid?" Nick finish explaining to All Might.

Yagi rubbed his chin when he was thinking. He drank some of his tea and gets up. "I'd do it, for the world, Nick. Because you and Nana were just allies. When do we leave?"

"Right now. A Quinjet is outside, ready to take off. I already inform Endeavor about the situation back in his agency. Agent Romanoff recruited Edgeshot, and one of my agents picking up a student that goes to the hero school from Okinawa." Nick informed him. "So, pack up what you need and let's go."

'Endeavor? Why would he need him? And Edgeshot and a student? What is going on?' Yagi says in his thoughts.

And so, they went to the Quinjet and took of to S.H.I.E.L.D.

Elsewhere...

2 guards jogging in the tunnel. Where it leads to Loki's hideout. Happening right now is a base of operations to start his plans soon.

For Loki. He's just sitting doing nothing. Watching the people he mind control working.

"Master Loki." A Scientist kneeling down and reporting to Loki.

"Yes." He replied.

"Everything is almost ready according to your plans. We will report you of any issues." He stated.

"Very well. Proceed."

So the Scientist got up and went back to work.

Then Loki's Scepter started to glow. Showing his memory as an illusion, showing the small conversation with The Other.

"The Chitauri grows restless." Said The Other.

"Let them go themselves." Loki appeared. "I will lead them in the glorious battle."

"Battle?" The Other questioned. "Against the meager might of Earth's beings with their enhance abilities? And the one so-called Symbol of Peace?"

"That Mortal is a fool calling himself that name. Just false, a warning to the powerless ones. And glorious, not lengthy. If your force is as formidable as you claim."

"You question us? You question him, he put the Scepter in your hands? Who gave you ancient knowledge and new purpose when you were cast out, defeated?"

"I was a king!" Loki said. "The rightful king of Asgard, betrayed."

The Other growled. "Your ambition is little and born of childish need. We look beyond the Earth to greater worlds the Tesseract will unveil."

"You don't have the Tesseract yet." Said Loki. As The Other hissed with little rage and moved fast like a phantom to Loki. His 6 finger hand closed to his face. The former king didn't flinch. "I don't threaten. But until I open the doors, until your force is mine to command, you are but words."

"You will have your war Asgardian." The Other slowly put his hand down. "If you fail, if the Tesseract is kept from us, there will be no realm, no barren moon, no crevice where he cannot find you!" The Other appeared behind Loki. "You think you know pain? He will make you long for something sweet as pain!" The Other put his hand on Loki's side of the face, then the illusion of memory ended for Loki groan a bit, little bit of sweat on his face.

"Master Loki." The Scientist came back, kneeling down. "Urgent report."

"What is the problem my puppet?"

"Dr. Selvig and Agenet Barton needs you." The Scientist said.

Loki gets up. And walk to where Dr. Selvig is working.

Selvig talking to Hawkeye. "Yeah, Irdium. It's found in meteorites. It forms anti-protons. It's very hard to get a hold of." The Doctor said.

"Especially if S.H.I.E.L.D. knows you need it."

"Well I didn't know." Selvig noticing Loki coming. "Hey. The Tesseract has shown me so much. It's more than knowledge. It's truth."

"I know." Loki said. "What did it show you, Agent Barton?"

"My next target." Hawkeye said.

Loki ask to Clint. "Tell me what you need."

Hawkeye walk to his case taking out his bow. "I need a distraction." He turn to Loki. "And a eyeball."

Author's note: Sorry for the short chapter. But I'm getting things ready for this story and more ideas in my other future stories. And the idea of how Nick Fury knew Nana is going to be answered in a prequel of a future story I'll planed sometime when I'm ready. And also, I challenge myself to finish this story before Christmas or before New Years Eve. I fail to do that. But hey, we saw some movies that take place during Christmas time; like Batman returns, Iron Man 3, and any other movies that released in summer time. And since season 5 of my hero academia is coming in March. We will be watching Class 1-A celebrating Christmas in spring time. Until the next chapter. Stay safe.
