A Bad Day Turned Good.

Amity's pov

Luz and I were at lunch in a small cafe by our house waiting for Eda to join when I heard a lady across the way muttering about us. "She is so loud, and look at that shirt." I wanted to say something but I was stopped when Luz shouted "Eda!" I turned to see the owl lady and got up to hug her.

"Hey Eda" I smiled and we sat down "how you two doing?" Luz gave a big grin. "Mama is sooo nice an she got me cwofs. " Eda laughed and I heard the woman whispering again. So I texted Eda.

A: there is a woman talking about Luz
E: just ignore her she will go away soon
A: ok....

I looked to Eda and she smiled at me before a waitor came over and asked what we wanted "I'll have a grilled cheese and a latte." I said before turning to Luz "what do you want Luz?" She showed me the menu and pointed to a milkshake and then a pancake stack. "She'll have a milkshake and 5 pancakes please." The wait or nodded and turned to Eda "I'll have a ham sandwich and a black coffee." The wait or left and I turned to see the woman from before looking at us.

Once we got our food Luz ate her pancakes and played with it before Eda started feeding her and when she was finished I wiped her face and hands with a wipe. "Dankoo mama." The woman then stood up and I watched her go towards the counter. She then began yelling "You need to kick these people out! They are treating that girl like a toddler!" I sighed and saw Luz start to cry I sat by her and held her to my chest. Eda argued back "um excuse me what does this have to do with you!" Everyone looked to Eda before the owner came out and said "please leave miss Bieyi we can't have you disturbing my customers. " the woman shook her head and stopped her feet, now whos the toddler. "She is acting like a 4 year Old! They could be forcing her to do all Sorts!"

Soon the woman was taking out and the owner came over. "I am so sorry Eda." The man said smiling "its not your fault Gus." Gus then kneeled down and smiled at Luz. "Hi Luz remember me?" Luz looked at Gus and smiled before hugging him and playing with his curley hair. "Gusy!" I laughed and said "thanks Gus, I'm Amity " I said holding out my hand. He shook it and he said. "Don't worry about hiding your self hear Luz we except everyone." He then showed us his wall of pride flags where I could see all of them that I knew with some space for more.
