Little Luz

Amity's pov

I was walking in the park with Luz when she stopped and started watching something, I followed her eyes to see a family, the little girl was being played with by her father as her mother watched and laughed. "Hey Luz are you okay?" Luz shook her head and took my hand "I is Otay mummy. "

I smiled and brought Luz to the playground and she ran off to go play, I sat on the bench watching her.  She came back after a few minutes and asked "duce pwes" I nodded my head and gave her a jiuce box before she sat down next to me. "Mummy, why do you like me? " I brought Luz closer and kissed her head "because you are sweet, and cute and you are so bubbly." Luz smiled and cuddled into my side. "You are my little Luz nothing is going to change that." Luz smiled up at me again and then went off to play.

She was having fun and I looked down to my phone to see I got a text from an unknown number.

Uk: you have something I want back.
A: what?
Uk: leave the kid at the park and I will leave you alone.
A: no! I can't just leave her.
Uk: you don't understand she is valuable.
A: how?
Uk: typing

Before the person could type a reply amity heard Luz scream. "Help!" Amilty looked around to find Luz being dragged away by two men. She ran towards them and punched one of them in the face and stepped on the other's foot soon after another car came and four more men came out with guns. "Ms Noceda. Your father has requested that you come home." One of the men said Luz shook where she stood but then said something I never thought I would hear from her. "Leave me alone. That Asshole has done nothing for me he isn't even my father." The man sighed and said softly. "Luz you know why you have to come home you're a human. You will never belong here."

Luz shook her head and walked towards the car. "No Luz I'm coming with you!" Another man pointed a gun towards me but the main guy stopped him and let me in the car.

"Luz tell me what's going on?" I asked holding her hands in the back seat of the car. "My mother and I had nothing when my father divorced her. So when she found a nice, rich man to love they moved really quickly and I was living every girls dream. But one day he found me play with my teddy King... he wanted to send me away, Amity so I ran and I found the owl house." I looked at Luz and sighed I wasn't mad and I wasn't upset I just felt bad for her. "Luz there is nothing we can't do together I promise you I will stay by your side no matter what." Luz smiled and cuddled into my side "do you like big me?" I nodded my head. "I can't wait to get to know her."
