AN)

Heads up for a slightly spicy scene, nothing too bad but like 2nd spiciest thing in here

-

45 minutes. He had texted Miss Sonia multiple times. His texts had all delivered, although none of them were read. She agreed to spend time with Kazuichi on Sunday, so why the fuck didn't she? Kazuichi would have been fine just pining for her but she gave him false hope and stood him up.

It's taking a lot from him to not start crying. Hell he's already slightly tearing up. See, Kazuichi was overly-sensitive. One small inconvenience and he starts overthinking and starts to cry. Although he couldn't cry here, he's in public and it would be embarrassing to leave a cafe after he sat in it for 45 minutes, especially while he had tears in his eyes. If someone like Hiyoko were around then he'd never hear the fucking end of it so he can't go back now.

He hears the bell of the door chime, signaling someone opened it, and he can't help but look up, still hopeful that it's Miss Sonia. It's just some guy leaving though.

"Oh sorry kiddo, didn't see you there." The guys says. It has nothing to do with him, so Kazuichi looks back down at his phone, heaving a shaky sigh, caused by the fact he's about to begin sobbing.

"I'm not a fucking kid you old bastard!"

A familiar voice.

As he's about to call out for Fuyuhiko to make the other customers think he was meeting a friend, he decides against it, remembering that Fuyuhiko was the only one who knew about his date so he would now Kazuichi got stood up. The fact he was here gives Kazuichi all the more reason to cry as the tears push further out of his head.

"Souda?"

Fuck.

He quickly sets down his phone and wipes his eyes off before looking up at Fuyuhiko who's standing next to his table.

"Kuzuryu! Hey man!"

"The hell are you doing here? I thought you were going out with Sonia. Hey wait have you been cr-" "Oh yeah she umm... She kinda stood me up." Fuyuhiko sighs. Kazuichi expects him to start laughing but instead he sits across from him.

"Fuckin' bitch. Aren't princesses used to schedules? Why the fuck didn't she show up?" Fuyuhiko complains, more to himself than Kazuichi. "Don't call Miss Sonia that! To be fair she barely heard when I said when and where." "You're telling me you didn't even confirm the details?" "W-Well no-" "So why the fuck did you even expect her to show up!?" "I mean I said I'd text her the details, I thought she would at least read them!" "Souda, did she even want to go on a date with you?" "Fuck Kuzuryu, I don't know! I- I don't know, okay I just..." Kazuichi's voice cracks before he goes silent. Tears prick at his eyes.

Fuyuhiko places his hand on top of on of Kazuichi's. "Look man, I don't know who's to blame, but you don't look like you're doing too well, so we're gonna go hang out okay?" "Okay."

The yakuza stands up, lightly pulling at Kazuichi's hand to pull him up, dropping it once he's on his feet.

"Where are we gonna go?" Kazuichi asks after a few minutes of walking. "My dorm. Unless you wanna go to yours." "No, my room's a mess." "Great, so mine."

Once they get there, Kazuichi lays on the bed while Fuyuhiko sits at the foot of the bed.

"Hey man... can I ask why you're being... y'know, nice for once?"

Earlier today, Fuyuhiko was spending time with Peko. He thought maybe, just maybe she would like him back. I mean if Kazuichi could get a date with Sonia, he may as well confess to Peko. Although he couldn't get the words out. That wasn't the worst part though, embarrassing himself in front of Peko, it was the fact she still called him "young master". He just wanted to be Fuyuhiko to her. He was her equal but she couldn't understand.
