We're here in an Intalian Coffee house named Chaplin.

"Table for two please." Sabi ni Calix dun sa waiter.

The waiter guided us to the table near the window. This coffee house is perfect for relaxing and being with this gorgeous man beside me.

Pinauna akong umupo ni Calix."Perfect." Sabi ni Calix noong nakaupo narin siya.

"Hah? Ang alin?" Tanong ko sakanya. ano pinagsasabi neto?

"How the light reflects your skin. Perfect." Sabi niya. I flushed. My gosh. Shit. I can't find the perfect words to say. And suddenly he became this sweet guy na parang alam na ako since birth.

"Uh, and I changed my mind. We're having lunch today. If you don't mind." Dagdag niya.

"Hmmm. No. No it's fine. I would also prefer lunch at this time." Sagot ko sakanya. 11:30 nakaya.

So he ordered. Blahh blah blah. We ate. And the food is mouthwatering. The waiter arrived with the dessert. At sa buong time ba yun, ganun lang kami not utterring words. Talagang kumakain lang. Minsan nagtititigan lang kmi tapos magtatawanan pero ganun lang. Para lang tanga.

"So what's the catch?" Tanong ko sakanya.

"Pardon me."

"Hm. You brought me for coffee- I mean lunch. We ate and said nothing. So what's the catch?" Sabi ko. "What I mean is that what would you like to say?" Dagdag ko. Giving him a half smile.

Gosh. Am I being so outspoken? Wishing not. Ganito kasi talaga ako. I want the direct discussion.

"You really don't remember me?" What!? Remember him!? As far as I know ngayon ko palang to nakikilala. "Hahaha. So straightfoward ey, Ms. Curtis? No- I mean none. No catch. One. One maybe? It's that I would want to know you better." Sagot niya.

"And that is...?"

"I really find you intresting Zoe. And i don't know why." His eyes says Sarcasm. Like he's playing a game with me.

"What's new?" nagtataka niyang sinabi.

"Hmmmmm.." Ano ba yan di ko masabe na gusto lang niya ako makilala or to know me better mostly, guys just want straightforward sex. Just sex.

He's jaw dropped. Seriously? At nakarecover na siya. Haha. "Well, hmmm. You may say. Hahahaha, I don't know what to say" Sabi niya. Ah? Talagang natawa pa siya.

"Speechless?" Tanong ko. Tumango siya.

"I get that a lot" Sabi ko. Then we burst into laughter.

"Ah. Sorry. That's my phone." Sabi ko.

"No its fine. Please." Sabi niya.

"Hello?"

<Hey! Want to join us for shots? Later this evening?> Ow. Si Paris. My best friend.

"Sure. What time?" Well Kahit tumanggi ako no choice parin ako.

"Okay."

<and one more thing, bring someone okay?>

"but--"

<Just go and bring someone. I love you sissy. Take care!>

And she hangs up. Pambihira, d paman ako tapos magsalita eh. Bring someone?

Alam naman ni Paris that I'm not intrested in relationship these days.

"SO?.."

"Ah! Sorry. Absent minded here!" Sabi ko. Nakalimutan ko si Calix. Super mental block ang relationships na yan.

"It's fine."

Eh sino naman sasama ko? She knows what I've been through and hindi lang basta basta ang pagdala ng lalaki para saakin.

"Calix?"

"Yes Ms. Curtis?"

"Can you do me a favor?"

"Please, tell me."

"Well, you've asked me for coffee- I mean lunch." Kahit nakakahiya mang sabihin, sasabihin ko parin.

"and..?" Tinuglungan niya ito.

"Will you go with me later evening? But if  you have plans, it's fine with me." Please let me die. now.

He just nods. "And?" I questioned him.

"I'll be honored." Thank God. Siguradong patay kasi ako kay kung wala akong dinala. Lord Thank you po napakabait nitong nilalang na to.

"So should i pick you up at 8?" Sabi ko.

"No. I'll go and pick you."

"But--"

"Bo buts." Then he smiled.

"Ok fine."

Sinulat ko yung adress sa tissue.

"That place at 8."

"Ok." Still keeping his smile.

"Well, I should go. See you at eight."
