{Kuroko POV}

An awkward silence filled the air.

I refused to break it.

"So...how've you been, Kurokocchi?" Kise-Kun asked. "You know...ever since we graduated, we barely saw each other..."

I stayed silent for a second. "You...You knew I'd be here, right?"

He rubbed the back of his neck. "Haha, as always, you know everything..."

"Why did you come, then?"

"To-To see you, of course!" He said, turning to me. "I missed you, Kurokocchi!"

Goosebumps ran down my body.

"Why?" I asked. "Why did you...You shouldn't have come..."

"Kurokocchi, are you still upset about...what happened then?"

I looked away, my hands fidgeting with one another.

"I'm sorry. I really am, Kurokocchi... I'll say it as many times as you want me to."

I couldn't do this any longer.

"I'm sorry, Kise-kun, I have to leave." I quickly walked away, but he grabbed my wrist.

"Kurokocchi—!"

A big hand was over Kise-kun's hand. We both stared at Kagami-kun.

"Kagami-Kun...?"

"Kagamicchi!"

"Kagamicchi...? Well, anyways, what're you doing, having a lovers quarrel or something?" He asked. "Catching his wrist and everything..."

I tried to remove my wrist, but Kise-kun turned his head towards me and grabbed me tighter.

"Kise-kun, it hurts..."

"Wait, Kurokocchi. We still need to talk! I still have so much to say."

"I don't." I said, twisting it out of his grip.

I walked away quickly, grabbing onto my backpack strap.

"Kurokocchi—!"

"Oi, leave him alone!"

"You can't tell me what to do, Kagamicchi!"

Their voices faded away as I quickly walked farther and farther ahead.

{Kise POV}

I managed to escape from Kagamicchi's grip.

"Ok! I'm not going! Geez..." I looked around, but Kurokocchi was gone. I checked the time on my phone.

"Now Senpai is going to be mad at me..."

"I thought you guys played basketball together in the past. Why does he hate you so much?" Kagamicchi asked.

"He-He doesn't hate me!"

"It's obvious he does."

"He doesn't!"

He put his hands up in mock surrender. "Ok! Geez..." Kagamicchi left, and a few minutes after, so did I.

"Oi, you idiot!" I was kicked to the floor. "Do you know how long we waited?!"

I didn't get back up. I felt like I deserved that kick.

"Why does he hate you so much?"

He DOES hate me...

"Kise-kun, you need to learn to react quickly."

"Huh?"
