(Picture 3: Seeing Light and Finding Hope even Amid the Darkest Darkness the world can throw at you)

Hadrian pretty much stormed out and retreated to the sanctum of Godric; where his emotions broke and all of the pain he felt internally was currently very clear across his expression. The hurt of his friends' betrayals and forcing him to leave his home. The pain of having to take on a name he shouldn't have had to for a second time and become another person. The anguish of remembering people he never had the chance to know; to understand that even if he could wait for them, his life would not be the same as before.

The confusion and confliction for the feelings he began to have and knowing how screwed up they were; on every level. On knowing exactly how messed up they were; yet, he couldn't bring himself to even care much anymore because his whole life was now different than the one he had lived.

His whole life had always been messed up; it didn't matter which version of it you chose to use to point it out.

He would never forget it; he couldn't, but his life now was still his own and he could choose how he wanted to live it. People would try to control or to manipulate; but he had learned from his past life, and now was too strong, willful, and determined to cater to such pathetic attempts.

Yet again, so many truths covered in half-truths or lies; simply to keep his presence there and why mostly a secret. Hadrian knew; he knew that he could have revealed all with no consequences to a paradox; his world of his former life was no longer in existence, so no risk of creating paradoxes. But, he hadn't meant to become so integrated to this world that he began to feel like he belonged there.

Even if he knew that it was now impossible for him to return to his own world; to try and salvage the ruins and remains of it. He could have still gone to another world after he'd managed to save Tom from himself, and faded to obscurity. Even knowing his soul would ache to return and to become closer.

He hadn't meant to become so involved; even when he knew Tom was his soulmate. His arrival there went perfectly, but he hadn't exactly trusted himself nor had he known if he would ever be able to forgive Tom for all the harm he had done to him and to others. Though, to be fair to Tom; the teen hadn't yet done all that much compared to his future self.

It was his memories that caused the confliction; because he knew what the teen could become if he failed. What he would be capable to doing.

He acted cool, confident and as if he owned the world because that was the role he had to play here as the Heir of the Peverell; but Hadrian was still partially Harry from his other life. He just didn't allow it to show all the time, and when he did...if the emotions were bad; he tended to isolate or seclude himself to keep his potential weaknesses out of sight.

He knew; that doing this, in and of itself was different for him than what Harry Potter would have done. His decisions were already vastly different; he'd become accustomed to being a Peverell. One only had to look at his behaviors.

Yes, he had known that Myrtle Warren was already dead from the gaze of the basilisk, and while he did feel some regret for her loss and potential contributions to wizarding society; if any, Hadrian hadn't bothered really to care to save her life. He had figured the girl would be just as annoying as her ghost had been, if not more so.

Never-mind just as...creepily stalker-ish.

Hadrian shuddered with revulsion as he remembered how she had been spying on the champions in the prefects bath during the Tournament. He hadn't wanted to deal with whatever Tom might try to do to her if he had come to be possessive of him and she decided to stalk him for saving her life. Tom was already possessive of Hadrian; however, he had curbed it to some degree for now.
