Am I in Heaven?

Intro: Natsu, a demon meets this very beautiful blonde haired angel. Could anything become of this meeting?

The fiery demon walked across the solid ground and growled in anger. How could this happen to him? He was just following orders. How was he supposed to know the angel he harmed was his friend's future wife? It made no sense to him. A lot of parents these days try to marry off their children with a demon or angel to end the war that is going on. In fact, he was also supposedly arranged to marry one. However, before he could find out who, his father died in the war.

The higher up demons know who it is, since they have to approve of it, however they won't tell him until the angel is of age to, "marry off". Which, she should have been now, but apparently she ran off since she never agreed. Nobody agreed to it though, so she's in the same boat as everyone else. Sometimes I wish I did as well, so I could have escaped this place long ago. But I doubted I would get far. Now, they're punishing me for hurting an angel when they're trying to settle the war, so I have to stay 3 nights out of demon's land, and on the supposed "neutral".

He sighed as he finally exited what was known as the outscape of the demon's land. At least they were nice enough to give me food and a bed though, is what he thought. Now, while he could just stay right there and wait for his 3 days, it was still pretty bright out, and he wanted the chance to explore. They don't usually let people out on the "neutral" land, because if you get too close to the other side and kill or capture you, it's your own fault. That's why Natsu has never seen this place before, and was ready to explore some. It was pretty bland for the most part, but there were a few trees, grass was pretty tall, and the sun was nice as long as you were under the tree so it blocked most of the heat. The wind was also great, but Natsu had never been one to like wind. It always blew his hair into his face, and it got annoying fixing it all the time.

He sighed as he got back up and got ready to head back to his area where he left his food and sleeping back. On his way back, he saw something white in the distance to his left. Squinting his eyes he looked closer and could make out what looked like an angel. He quickly ducked. He forgot that if you're killed on "neutral" land, nobody but yourself is to blame. He sighed in frustration, because he had no weapons except just his normal demon magic. Which is fine, but angels also have powerful magic, so it's always good to have backup. He couldn't help but curse as he heard the footsteps get closer. He got into a position to tackle the angel to the ground. As soon as the person got close enough, he pounced and brought them down with him. Locking off all points of attack he could, he grabbed the angels hands and put it above their head, while sitting low enough to block her (he just realized it was a she) from using her knees to kick up.

He glanced at the angel's face and could see the terror in her eyes. He almost backed down, but he had to make sure the angel held no danger or harm to himself. "Oi, what were you doing sneaking up on me?" He asked. The angel took a gasp of air before speaking. "I-um, I wasn't trying too...I promise! I just- um, I just wanted to help you back. You uh, looked lost and I have been here for some time now." she answered, stuttering from surprise still. The entire time she spoke, Natsu stared at her chocolate brown eyes, to tell if she was lying. He hesitantly got off of her as she leaned up and scooted away from him. "I'm sorry. This is my first time out of the demons land, and I know the rules here. I just couldn't allow myself to get killed in case you were a threat." he explained. The angel looked at him hesitantly but nodded and muttered that it was fine.

They sat in silence for a few minutes before Natsu let out a cough and spoke once again. "Well, um..what was that about taking me back to my home?" The angel quickly jumped up and put a smile on her face. "You're right! Come on, let go!" she said and quickly started to walk off. Natsu gaped in shock, still having the memory of her smiling with golden hair swirling around her with the sun in the background in his mind. "I-um yeah. Coming!" he yelled and stood up. He let his own smile come up on his face as he caught up to her. "Well, while we're walking, what's your name?" the angel suddenly asked. "Oh. I'm Natsu! Or my real name is Etherious Natsu Dragneel, but my family has always called me Natsu. I sometimes forget it's not my actual name. What's yours?" He asked. The angel nodded as she acknowledged his words before speaking. "My name is Lucy Heartfilia. I'm not quite sure if Lucy is my first or middle name, because that's all I know." she replied. "Lucy, hm? I'll just call you Luce!" Natsu replied with a smile.

The angel looked at him curiously before giggling and nodding her head. "Do whatever you like. Now come on, we're so slow!" she said before running ahead of him. Natsu let his own playful grin appear on his face as he chased after her. Am I in Heaven? He couldn't help but ask himself.

(A/N: And...that's 2 down! Sorry for not posting yesterday. I'm not sure if I'll get the other 2 requests done, but I'll try my hardest! I just finished my school work 2 hours ago, and I still haven't eaten and it's 9:30. So, before anything else, I will be going to eat. I'll try to at least get 1 more story completed tonight! I'll get back on my 4 stories a day sometime this weekend if I can't manage tonight!)
