It didn't sit Lando right so he decided to call his mom Ciska. Ciska was really mad at Lando and said that he really did something wrong to quote her exact words "That girl has been through so much and opened up her heart to you and you just slam it because you don't want the media attention" after a good talk with his mom he came up with a plan. Ally did not pick up her phone so he had to reach her another way. He asked SKY sports for a individual interview where he would give more context to the 'big question' from yesterdays drivers press conference.
Lando was nervous for the interview but he knew he had to do something in order to get Ally back. The interview started off with general questions about the track and how the car was feeling until they asked "Lando, we have to ask you what happened yesterday at the drivers press conference?" Lando took a deep breath "See I'm going to be really honest, something that I wasn't yesterday. When you guys asked about a girl I have been spotted with I didn't want to talk about it. The reason why is because I was scared. I really like this girl and I didn't want the media to ruin what we have but now I think I did." Lando said. "so your saying that that girl is your girlfriend?". Lando shook his head "No, The girls name is Abby and we are not dating as if right now. But she is the first girl that have made me feel some kind of way and we were on the way of exploring if there was more to our friendship until I kinda messed it up again." The interviewers of SKY sports nodded yes and than asked "So when you are saying messed up again what do you mean with that?" Lando knew that a question like this would come but he was gonna be completely honest so he answered "Well it is kind of a long story but it comes down to that Ally and I have been friends for as long as I can remember and I developed feelings for her at a young age and didn't knew how to express them. When I got into F1 I didn't contact her anymore because I felt it was easier to not talk to her than act like there was nothing going on... Which was a huge mistake thinking back at it since she admitted that she had feelings for me as well..." The last question was "Okay, so our last question is where do you guys stand right now?" Lando nodded and said "well frankly I don't know that myself right now, I still have a lot of feelings for this girl but what I did to her is probably gonna take her time..."
It was a heavy interview but it was something that needed to be done. Lando could now only hope that Ally would see it and contact him.
