One True Queen- ongoing

Prologue

"My Queen, they're here!" I look outside the window and the worst scenery caught my eyes: The blood witches are attacking us.

"Take the prince to a safe place! Tell our soldiers to get ready, I'm going to win this battle no matter what happen." I fiercely took my bow and arrows and then aimed. When I released the arrow, it hit a blood witch attacking one of the soldier.

I went down to help the soldiers. I shoot without stopping, enduring the pain caused by shooting arrows endlessly.

"Queen Cyrene, the protectors had arrived." Arayan, one of the royal knight's son who is a year older than my brother, informed me and he immediately went inside the palace.

"Fire mages, show them what you got!" as soon as I shouted that they began controlling the body temperature of our enemies, making it high which caused the blood witches to fall down and shout in pain.

After that, the blood witches start to perform spells which made us back off a bit. I continued shooting arrows, aiming those who are attacking unprepared soldiers. I also used my fire, wind and ice attribute to strengthen the arrow's power.

"Ice mages, earth mages, animal shifters, water mages and wind mages, ATTACKKK!" they began attacking again though the blood witches continued to cast spells. It's hard to attack them since they're using spells to conceal themselves.

"Sister!" I immediately looked towards that voice's direction. He looked toward my direction.

"RAJESH! Why are you here!? I said take the prince to a safe place, d*mn it! Soldiers defend!" I immediately run towards my brother. He's just 13 and too young to learn everything about violence.

"Sister, Behind you!" He shouted which made me look behind. But to my surprise, the archer who is aiming, changed its target.

"NO!" I ran towards Rajesh as fast as I could. He is the only treasure I have, aside from the people of Aerona and I can't afford to lose him.

Before the arrow hit my brother, I wholeheartedly hugged him to shield him from the arrow. As soon as the arrow hit me, I knew that there was poison on it and it made my whole body numbed. I closed my eyes, enduring the pain.

I saw another arrow aiming towards my brother's direction. I stood up again and blocked the arrow from hitting my brother. I took my bow and I made an arrow out of poisonous plants and shoot the archer and he got hit.

Daenerys, a light witch and a friend of mine, run towards me and gave me the healing orb. But before I used the orb, I saw a spear going towards my brother's direction. I have no choice but to use the orb.

"No! Cyrene!" Daenerys shouted for she knows what I want to do. I don't want to do it but I have no choice. I know the consequences of doing this yet I need to do it in order to protect the people and my brother.

"Please take care of him." I said as I stood up facing the spear. As soon as I raised the orb everything stopped. "Magic orb please hear my wish. Absorb their powers to avoid the risk." And the orb shined so bright that could blind a man. Everyone closed their eyes except for me.

"Please leave a clue." I whispered and the orb floated away from me and it broke into six pieces and then, it vanished. I can feel my energy vanishing either. It's almost my time. I must face the consequence.

Everything around starts to moved again thought the witches lost their powers. But before the spear hit my brother and the people behind, I blocked it again. I feel on my knees. I look at everyone and smiled.

"Being your queen was my biggest pleasure. Forgive me for I wasn't able to endure for all you. Good bye. Wait 'till the One True Queen come."
