Removing the veil
Monday again, just as usual Noor is the first one in class waiting for everyone else to show up. It's one of Noor's routines to be the first one in class, it made her feel more productive and organised. As time past by the student started showing up on by one filling the auditorium.
" Morning " Hamza said with a tiered and sleepy voice as usual. Noor looked up from her notebook and watched him carefully as he sat down next to her, she continued watching him as if making sure that he is actually there.
" Waw! Your on time for the first time, what's happening" Noor said with a hint of sarcasm in her voice .
" yeah yeah! Very funny. Today is important that why " he said while yawning. Noor kept looking at him waiting for him to continue
"One of the biggest business men in the UK is joining today's lecture, that why I came on time to make sure I got a good spot. Didn't you notice that there are a lot more students than usual" with that Noor started looking around and discovered that the whole auditorium was packed with people, which is very rare and never happened.
" I didn't know " Noor said while still looking around shocked by the amount of student.
" You are literally living under a rock, they have been talking about this lecture the whole weekend, how could you not know about this " Hamza said shaking his head and slightly laughing. For the past few day Noor have really been living under a rock. After telling her father about her disunion she felt more lonely. Even though her father was very proud of her and tried to show it in more the one way it didn't really help.
This was the first time Noor noticed her father being happy ever since her mother's death. They even spent the whole Saturday together which is something they haven't done in forever. He took her out for dinner and even desert afterward, however the night wasn't completely magical as she hoped it would be because by the end of the night while they where on their way home he told her how he wanted the wedding as soon as possible, that he is gonna try to organise everything by the end of the month. Which left Noor confused, she didn't understand why the wedding had to happen that fast. This meant that Noor only hade three more week before she married her soon to be husband that she haven't even met yet. To solve that problem her father said he was going to invite Adam over for tea so she can meet and talk to him. Meeting Adam wasn't something Noor was exited about, she would have much rather married him without meeting him, but then on the other hand he didn't know how she looked like and probably wanted to see his future wife, or so she thought.
" Good morning class!" The loud sound of her professor broke Noor from her thought. She looked up from her notebook to be meet with the most beautiful hazel eyes she have ever seen, the aura of the man standing next to the middle age professor draw Noor's and everybody else attention.
" today's lecture.." she heard her professor saying but she couldn't hear anything else that was said, she couldn't pay attention to anything else except the masculine man standing in front of the class. His thick brown hair was shiny and looked silky smooth, his perfectly shaped beard gave him a more intelligent look. And the perfectly fitted suit made his bored shoulders even border, he looked like someone coming out of a fashion magazine or a Bollywood movie. Maybe it was in her imagination but it felt like he hadn't moved his gaze from her, he was looking and admiring her just like she was doing to him,
