Chapter 5 - Cheryls POV

I couldn't stop thinking about Toni when I came home today. Something on her makes me want to know more about her. It's weird cause I didn't had this feelings for years. I know that she had english in the last lesson today. So I wrote my friend Veronica and asked her if she knows something about this new girl. Everyone in the school knows that I'm a lesbian cause I don't like it to hide something like that. "Yes she is in my class and is sitting behind me, why? Are you interested in her?" I answered that I just want to know wich Southsider is going to join our School. She told me where she lives and gave me her number. It was weird for me that she knows those things after one lesson but Veronica is a very extroverted person. She always talks with the new students even they aren't from the Northside and maybe dangerous. After we ended the call I was thinking about to go to her house but I was scared about her reaction. I didn't wanted that she thinks I'm a stalker. So I wrote her a simple message. "Hey do you know if you want to write for the Blue & Gold yet?" I read it again and deleted it. This happened 3 more times till I finally just wrote "Do you maybe want to meet at Pops tonight?" I clicked on "send" and got really nervous. Maybe she thinks I'm weird. After 5 minutes I got a message and took my phone immediately. The only thing I got back was "Who is this?". How could I forgot to write my name at the end. This girl really makes me forget everything. I just answered "Cheryl Blossom" and when she answered "Okay I can be there at 5 pm." I smiled and searched for some clothes in my wardrobe. I decided to take a black skirt, my red long shirt and my spider brooch. I put some make up on and of course my red lipstick. When I was ready I took my money and went to Pops.
