It was monday and principal Weatherbee called me in his office. Normally i would have math with my cousin Betty now. So I wasn't that mad that I couldn't go to my class. I knocked on the door and when I heared a silent "Yes?" I went into the office. "Thank you for coming Mrs. Blossom. This is the new girl Toni Topaz, she is from the-." "Southside!" I screamed cause it wasn't normal that a Southsider joined our school. "Yes Mrs. Blossom she is from the Southside, can you please guide her through the school and show her where her classes are?" "Of course principal Weatherbee." The pink haired girl stood up and came across the room to me. When she started to speak I got butterflies in my stomach. She was really beautiful and interesting. But I didnt want to show her. So I just told her to come with me. "Hey my name is Antoinette Topaz but you can call me Toni." "Hello Antoinette, I'm just doing this so I don't need to go back to math." "No you are doing this because the principal asked you to do it." "Why did you have to change school?" I didn't want to ask her this cause I didnt want to make her feel special or something. She was just a new girl. But when Toni answered I was speachless. "I'm here on the Riverdale High because.." "Because what?" "My grandparents had a car accident and are in the hospital. I'm still 17 so I'm officially not allowed to live alone. I'm living with my Aunt on the Northside." "Oh okay." I just realized that this girl also has been trough some complicated things. "And what about your parents?" "I don't know my parents, but Cheryl didnt you just need to show me the school?". I dont know why this girl made me so curious but somehow I couldn't stop to ask her questions. "Yes so this is the science class." I guided her through the Riverdale High until she suddenly stopped at the Blue & Gold office. "What's that?" The pink haired girl asked. "It's the Blue & Gold our School Newspaper. Are you interested?" "Yes maybe. I need to think about it Cheryl."
