Jungkook felt himself shiver as he sat alone in the empty practice room, still stuck with the same bewildered expression on his face, unable to comprehend what had just happened. He had a mirror in front of him and a devastated Jungkook, was staring back at him. Rain started pouring down outside and so did his tears, unknowingly trickling down to his shirt making him a wet mess. Of course, he was not in a state to care for that. As he stared into blank space his ears were still ringing with Jimin's voice, "I don't want anything to do with you anymore", his voice was filled with an indescribable pang of pain. "You're free from me now Jungkook, so go ahead, do whatever you want", Jimin's voice turned into a yell, loud enough over his footsteps that stormed out of the room leaving Jungkook all alone.
Jungkook had no idea how long it had been. He felt as if he couldn't move a muscle. His whole body felt numb and heavy for him. He felt his heart filling with this unbearable pain, emptiness and loneliness. He felt alone, more than ever before, as though he was the only living being in the whole world. Suddenly he fell on the wooden floor, that was covered with a black practice mat. He covered his face with his hands and let out a painful cry into the empty room. He couldn't stay quiet anymore, it was hurting just that much. He finally let his heart out choking and crying. "Jiminssi... he... let go? What does that mean? Free from him? How could he even think that HE was some burden that I needed to be free from?", He had a lot of questions in his teary eyes that glistened in the light.
In fact, Jungkook wanted, rather craved, the opposite. Jimin, he was not just his hyung. He was Jungkook's world, the only person he wanted to look at. The only one's touch he needed. He was the one person that he wanted to care, more than he could ever say. Jimin was the one who was ecstatic for every achievement of Jungkook. Be it winning a simple video game, or learning to become a terpsichorean performer in America, Jimin was the happiest, even more than himself.
He was there for him, every step of the way. Every time... until now. Jungkook thought as his heart filled with guilt and agony. "It's my fault", he thought as he cried. "He's gone because of me." He finally sat up again on the mat, still unable to stop his falling faucets of tears. He was heartbroken and he hated himself for making this happen. His own guilt was eating at him.
