Alex's pov
Me and Charlie arrived back home and sunk into the sofa. "Would you mind staying in your room for a while, I have to pop out and get something and you can only come out when I tell you to," Charlie asked out of the blue. I turned to face him, my head resting on the back of the sofa, "why?" I asked suspiciously. He didn't say anything but by the look on his face he was serious about whatever was going on, I rolled my eyes but agreed.

Charlie immediately stood up and practically ran to the door slipping his shoes back on, "you're so weird sometimes," I said to him whilst slowly getting off the comfortable sofa and walking towards my bedroom. "I know, I'll be back soon, thanks babe, bye," he replied with a small wave and he blew a kiss as he walked out of the door which he didn't shut behind him.

Babe? That's the first time he or anyone else has called me that. I walked towards the door and peered out watching Charlie be his clumsy self as he tried to out his jacket on, speed walk and find the car keys at the same time. He may seem distant at first but he really was the sweetest person I knew.

I closed the front door and walked calmly towards my room. It felt weird being in there, I was so used to Charlie's room but I stayed like he asked. I wondered what he was doing as I sat on my bed watching Netflix on my phone. My phone started going off making me jump, no one ever called me. I looked down at the phone, 'Harry' was written across my screen, it took me a while but then I remembered that it was Charlie's friend and answered suspiciously.

"Hello?" I answered, I really didn't know what I was meant to do on the phone. I've never had any friends and the only family I knew was my dad and my mum but they obviously never called. "What's up bitch?" Harry asked in his high pitched voice, "I don't know," I replied awkwardly but he just laughed, clearly thinking I was joking. "How did you get my number?" I asked him, "I asked Charlie for it and he put me on your phone for you," he said cheerily, "ah ok, is everything ok?" for some reason I began to panic thinking something bad happened to Charlie.

"Nah, us gays just gotta keep up with the gossip," he replied whilst chewing something. I knew I was gay but did I really come across as that gay? (Nothing wrong with it btw). Probably yes, but I'll have to ask Charlie later, unfortunately I was a sucker for a bit of gossip, "what you got?" I asked him getting comfortable.

We spoke for about an hour and Charlie had walked through the door rustling bags and pacing from the living room to his room. "Hey Harry, it's been really nice talking to you we should do it again sometime but Charlie's just got back home and I should see what he's up to," I said having to cut him off a little, "ok, keep me updated," he said sounding excited. "Alright bye," I replied before hanging up the phone.

I poked my head around the door purposely not looking over to the living room, "what you doing?" I asked playfully making Charlie jump and quickly hide a shopping bag behind his back suspiciously. "You'll see soon, now get back in there," he said and shooed me away teasingly. I nodded and shut the door again. What the heck was he doing? I began to feel excited, Harry did say he was quite romantic. It could be something like that, I couldn't think of anything it could be though.

I sank and sat against the door continuing my film and waited for Charlie to be done with whatever he was doing. The door then opened quickly and I fell on my back. I looked up to be met with Charlie's confused and slightly concerned eyes. We stared at eachother judgementally for a while, "I'm done now," he said, I reached my hands up and he helped me stand up again and led me to the living room. He insisted on covering my eyes and he guided from behind me, his hands over my eyes, he wasn't very good at directions and I bumped into a lot of things and tripped a few times but we made it eventually.

I could smell something burning and began to panic, "have you set something in fire?" I asked, my voice going higher than I expected it to do, "you really have no trust in me do you?" he replied scoffing at me. "No, but really," I said as he uncovered my eyes. The room was dark and lit up by small candles, the living room had been made into a little den with blankets from his room. There was a large gap in the front so we could see the TV.

I gasped and hugged him tightly, "this is so cute, thank you," I said jumping a little in excitement. He laughed and pushed me off to take me inside the den. The inside was even better than the outside, he had our cushions from the sofa on the floor and brought in our pillows and his duvet. Luckily there were no candles in the den and he had found my favourite marvel film.

I ran into the den and got comfortable under the duvet and patted the spot next to me for Charlie to come and sit next to me so we could cuddle. He came over and we got comfortable. That was the moment I spotted pizza and chocolates and sweets, I tugged him off me to get a plate and filled it with everything in the bowls he had laid out neatly on a couple of trays. He did the same and we got comfortable once again, we ate and watched the film.

"How did you know this was my favourite?" I asked him whilst the intro came on, "you mentioned it once," he replied as if it was an obvious question. "Yeah, ages ago though, like when we first met," I said looking up and him. He pulled me back down to rest on his chest and I happily complied. The film began and it had started to feel like the best night of my life. I really could get used to this.
