Chapter 2

Jules POV

"I have heard this also, please do tell J" Lee then said. At this point I need to leave "Well I am going to head to the bathroom, you guys have a good day and I'll catch up with you guys later." and with that being said I quickly stood up and ran out the compartment. I could hear the three boys calling me back over to them but I had to leave.

Why did Oliver look interested in that topic? Maybe he's just curious. When I finished going to the bathroom I started heading back to my compartment with Anne and Cedric hoping they didn't kill one another. As I was walking down the hallway I caught a flash of orange hair. I opened the door and found Ron with two others. Bloody hell I think that Harry Potter. "Hey Jules" Ron said while eating a chocolate frog. "Hey ickle Ronnie Kins'' he hates it when me and the twins call him that...but I can't help it. "Oh I'm sorry, Hello I'm Jules Waters, 5th year Hufflepuff '' I extended my hand toward the other two 1st years.

"Hello i'm Hermione Granger" she's adorable, she has bushy hair and these beautiful brown eyes. "Hello, i'm Harry Potter" we shook hands too. I talked to the three about the Hogwarts houses and they wanted to be in Gryffindor. I said my goodbyes and left also while trying to avoid the twins's compartment. Heading back to my own compartment I opened the door and they were still fighting.

"Why are you always mean to me-" Cedric said, "I'm not mean you just can't handle jokes" Anne then said. "Jokes are supposed to be funny" "You're the only one who doesn't lau-" I've had enough of this "BOTH OF YOU SHUT IT!" I finally said while cutting off Anne. "Now, why is it that you two are always fighting". "She started it" Cedric said "Hey, sh. For the rest of this train ride I don't want you two fighting."

A few hours later the train arrived. We started getting into our carriage when three boys jumped in while it was moving. Fred, George and Lee squished into the carriage and as expected they brought up the topic again. "You know J running away from us won't solve anything" Fred said, "So tell us who you like-" George started "and we won't tell anyone" Lee then finished.

I thought for a while and then said "Fine, if you must know...Oliver Wood ''. Anne snorted because of the looks on their face. Cedric then felt the need to say "It's so funny because Oliver and Katie have this weird thing going on, and then here's J ." After he said that my face dropped into a frown, Anne smacked his arm very hard. Ced then turned to me and said "J I'm sorry if that made you feel bad, I'm sorry" I just smiled and said that it was okay.

I mean he's not wrong. A few moments later we arrived at Hogwarts, my other home. We said bye to Fred, George and Lee and headed to the Hufflepuff table. I sat in between Anne and Cedric and waited for the ceremony to start.

Hermione ended up in Gryffindor, I was happy for her so I stood up and clapped. Next out of the trio was Harry, his sorting took awhile but he ended up in Gryffindor too. Now Ron was finally up. He got into Gryffindor! I was so happy for him, just one more Weasley to go.

After the sorting Dumbedoor said his speech and the feast began. The table in front of me was Gryffindor and I was looking for a certain quidditch boy and then my thoughts got interrupted by Anne saying "He's over to the right next to Percy and Katie" "I wasn't even looking for him" I said trying to sound convincing. They didn't buy it "After dinner you should go talk to him" Ced said. "Are you daft? She can't just go up to him" Anne then said while throwing a roll at Cedric's face. "No, no, no, Ceds right, I have to talk to him at some point right? Might as well just do it now then later."

The feast was now over, Cedric and Anne wished me luck and told me they'll be in the common room. I walked over the group which was Lee, Fred, Oliver, Angelina, George, and Katie. Angelina saw me coming over and said "Jules!" she ran over to me and gave me a hug. Since most of the time when I'm not with Anne and Ced I'm probably with the twins, me and the girl became friends.

"Hey guys" I said to all of them, I then turned to Oliver "Wood" I said with a sly smile. "Waters" he said with a nod of his head. "So what can we do for you Miss Jules?" Fred said while bowing "Oh yes, what can we do for you your highness" George then said doing the same thing. "You guys are idiots, but actually I came here to talk to you." I then faced Wood. As if I was talking to her Katie said "Oh what are we talking about?" I then turned my head to the twins and they nodded their heads.

Fred then spoke "Oi Angelina fancy a walk?" "No" the girl said. We all laughed and Fred gave her the puppy eyes and she finally agreed. I looked at Lee and George and they got the hint, "Hey Bell cares for a walk with the both of us?". Merlin I hope she says yes...she didn't. "No I'll walk back with Wood to the common room." my heart sank. But what surprised me was when Wood told her it's okay and that she can head back.

When they finally left it was just me and Wood. We started walking around the castle and he said "What did you want to talk about Waters?" as if something just sparked a flame in me I said "Jules, you can call me Jules''. "Okay, and you can call me Oliver, so what did you wanna talk about Jules' '.

I blushed. "I just wanted to talk to you. How was your summer?" and with that we talked about what we did during our holiday. Then the conversation changed. "So who is it?" Oliver asked. I knew what he was asking but I was trying to stall. "Who's what?" I said back at him. "The guy you like" ha ha crap. I told him it's this guy who's really fun to be around and he likes quidditch, but that's all I said. It was like this light that was in his eyes started to glow down, he then said "Oh, he sounds like a great guy, well it's getting late so I should head back to my common room".

Did I say something wrong? "Oh, well then goodnight Oliver" "Goodnight Jules". He started heading to Gryffindor tower and I went back to the Hufflepuff common room. I had a smile on my face while walking back...Goodnight Jules just kept ringing in my ears.
