Chapter 7

Jules POV 

"Sorry" I said while trying to go around the girl. I'm just trying to get away from her. "Wait, I wanted to talk to you" she called from behind me. I sighed and closed my eyes and turned around with a fake smile on my face. "Hi Katie," I said, trying to sound nice.

"Jules, I'm gonna tell you this once and I really don't wanna repeat it-" she started saying. I looked at her and listened. "-Oliver, likes me. He and I will be together and I don't need you to ruin that." I looked at her like she was a flying car. Who the hell does she think she is? "I'm sorry what? why would I do that?" This girl is clearly on something. "I know things Jules..." She started walking around me like she was a predator and I was the prey.

"I know about you and a certain Slytherin, you know Ollie isn't keen on the Slytherin quidditch team, if I tell him about you two and that you like boys like Pucey...Ollie might not like that". Oh my gosh I'm being blackmailed. There are two ways to go in this situation, I either back down or I go down with a fight.

I'm choosing the second option because who the hell does this girl think she is? "You know Bell...in order for your blackmailing to work...I would have to care. I don't care if you tell Oliver about what me and Adrian were. We all have pasts. I'm sure yours isn't perfect either. And about you and Oliver..." I stepped closer to her "I'm not backing away easily, if you wanna play dirty that's fine with me...i'm not scared of a challenge." I then stood straight and said "Have a goodnight Bell" and walked away and towards the Library.

I studied, and studied until it was past curfew. I then made my way back to the Hufflepuff dorms and went into me and Anne's room. She was in the shower when I got there so I just put all my work away, got in my pjs and grabbed some Pepper Imps and ate them. I enjoyed the effect...it gives me rush. Anne got out of the bathroom and said "Dude you have to lay off the Pepper Imps, the smell of peppermint hurts my eyes." and then went to get dressed.

"Guess who I ran into on my way to the Library'' I said while putting the candy away. "Who Oliver?" Anne guessed while drying her hair. "No, Katie." Anne then stopped all her movements and looked at me. "Oh my gosh what happened" she said and jumped on her bed, she hugged her knees and was fully engaged.

"Well she told me to basically stay away from Oliver or else she would tell him about me and Adrian, and how he's a Slytherin and blah blah blah" I started telling her. "And what did you say?" she said while rocking back and forth. "I told her that I don't care if she tells him, because honestly I think he already knows, and that if she wants to play dirty so be it...im not scared of a challenge."

She screamed. Anne screamed. I threw my pillow at her to shut her up. "You did not! Oh my gosh! Wait until Ced hears! Oh he'll be so proud of you for standing up to her." I just smiled at her and told her that we'll talk about it more in the morning because now I'm beat.

I didn't read tonight because honestly I had enough drama for one night. So I went to bed.

I woke up early as always and got ready for school. I woke up Anne too and she got ready. We headed down stairs and I was going to the exit when I noticed she wasn't by me anymore. I turned around and she was sitting on the couch. "Come on, let's go get breakfast," I told her. I honestly was surprised to hear what she said next.

"I'm waiting for Ced, go on without me" she said with a smile. "Alright then" and I left. Anne and Ced...hmmm. I had those two in my thoughts heading towards the Great Hall. When I got there I saw Oliver and his friends but no Katie, I shrugged and headed over to them.

"Good morning guys" I said with a smile, but they didn't look up, not even the twins. "Hello?" no response. I opened my mouth to say something but Oliver beat me to it. "You have some nerve coming over here," he said. I looked at him confused. "What did I do?" I said because I'm very confused. Oliver then spoke again "You attacked Katie and told her that our quidditch team sucks and that you hope either Slytherin or Hufflepuff win the cup and then told her you'll play dirty."

I'm sorry what did the boy just say, I didn't say any of that. "I didn't say that, I actually said none of that." Oliver just rolled his eyes, got up and left. "Lee, when did she tell you guys this?" I asked. "Last night she came into the common room crying and told us." I looked at Fred and George and said "You guys know I would never say that." they shrugged and then they all got up and left me at an empty Gryffindor table.
