Ruby POV
I was exploring Granite cave, well I was sent here by Brawly he said something about his friend or something I couldn't remember what he was saying over all those treadmills moving. As I got deeper into the cave I noticed an opening to another room well the only room in this cave, I walked in and saw a painting of an ancient Pokémon but what really caught my eye was this guy or man, he was observing the painting closely and speaking to himself he then turned around and saw me "Ah are you interested with this painting as well?" He walked down from the steps and stood in front of me he had a gentle smile "Uhh yes I am" I looked up to met his pale blue eyes he then blinked quickly and came closer to me.

He stared into my ruby colored eyes "Your....eyes are like a rare gem their absolutely gorgeous" he studied my eyes as I felt a blush creep up on my cheeks "Ohh Uhh thank you.... I could say the same for your eyes mister..."
"Steven Stone a pleasure to met you" he bowed down like a gentlemen and smiled,he rises back up "and you are?" He cocked a eyebrow up in question "Oh just call me Ruby". "Alright Ruby it was a pleasure to met you but I must be going now" he patted me on the shoulder and walked away his footsteps sinking into silence. .........I release my breath and felt my warm face.

I took out my PokéNav Plus and looked at my reflection I was red as my eyes, "uhhh it's not natural to blush at a guy's comment Ruby!" I shouted out loud and shook it off I examined the painting closely and walk out the cave the light was blinding me "ugh to much light" I walked down the beach shore and looked at my reflection again "..... do my eyes really look like a rare gem?" I was self concession now and needed to get my head off of his comment and voice and ..... looks, i admit he is a handsome guy plus he looked like a gentlemen since he wore a suit.

"FOCUS ON THE TASK RUBY!" I said to myself as wingulls flew away from me I scurried to my feet and walked away. "Ok now I need to go to Mauville City" I called out my Swellow "to Mauville City!"
We took off into the sky the wind was pleasant and I saw a swarm of Pelipper in the air, i arrived in Mauville city and walked in there I saw Wally he was talking to some guy I really didn't pay attention but man was I was hungry I heard Mauville food court had good food so why not stop there. As I walk in this nerdy guy walked up to me "the village combo line is open but you should hurry and find a spot to eat and you have to battle for your spot" he then left, "......weird ass" I order my food and she gave me a buzzer "your food shoulder be ready in five turns" I took the buzzer and walked towards the only available seat "turns? what does she means by turns?" I shrugged it off "HEY MOVE OUT THAT CHAIR I SAW IT FIRST!" I turn to see a snotty brat screaming at me "Uhh I got here first" he walked closer "I DONT CARE WE WILL BATTLE FOR IT!" I groaned and sat up to battle which was a waste because I took him out the moment we battled.

I sat back down and checked the buzzer "four more turns" I mumbled "hey since I'm a girl and your a guy would you be a gentlemen and give me your seat?" I see a girl begging me "sorry but no" I replied in a cold tone "Aww rude then I'll battle for it!" I looked at her stupid and wiped her out. A few battles later my buzzer ringed I hurried and rush to grab my food "thank you oh and you arrived just in time were everything is delicious so here is a nugget" I smiled at her and took it gladly "maybe it wasn't a waste after all" I say back down good thing no body took my spot, I dug into my sandwich it was yummy but I needed a napkin "Ummm hey do you mind giving me a napkin- Hey your the guy I met before" I looked into his pale blue eyes as he smiled "indeed I am and here are your napkins" he handed me ten napkins "thanks...." I was nervous for some reason but I couldn't think of why? But I was probably flushed again "So Ruby did you fight for your seat?" He smiled as he ate slowly "Uhh yeah you?"I was blushing mad now because the way he'll say my name makes me nervous.

"I took out that boy easily but I felt bad for taking his spot so I gave him a Normal Gem to make up for it" he took another bite "I just wanted to eat" I said softly "usually I get the ramen but the line is to long for me to wait I have some business to do" he folded his wrapper nicely and put it on his tray "business?" I crumpled mine up and we both walked to the trash can to dump our trash away "Ohh just some things" he had a worry look on his face but I didn't want to sound noisy so I shrugged it off.

We walked to the door as he held it open for me "after you" he smiled I blushed again and walked out as he walked out behind me to "well Ruby this is my departure I'll see you later" he then walked away, I admired his kindness and the way his shoes clicked against the marble floor,his tail coat flapping and his hair bouncing slightly "UGHHHH RUBY STOP!" I hit myself in my head and decided to go battle the gym leader of Mauville City Wattson.

I walked north of the plaza and saw Wally again he said some stuff but then noticed me "look I'll prove to you that I can take on Wattson, Ruby battle me!". "Uhh alright" he took out his Kirlia the one I helped him capture and I took out my Combustken wasn't my best choice to bring a fighting type Pokémon against a phychic type but whatever I still won I took out all his other Pokémon to as well, "well looks like I can't beat Ruby then.....then I won't battle Wattson thanks Ruby" Wally smiled and walked away "Uhh ok"; I felt like I was being watched for a second but when I turned around no one was there "ok then..". I entered the Gym which and battled the trainers and met Wattson he was a lively old man and our battle was intense but I wasn't going to lose. "Wow kiddo you've earned the Dynamo badge!" He handed the shiny object in my hand as I placed it in my badge case "thanks! It was a pleasure battling you" I smiled and walked out "YESS my third badge!" I jumped.

I saw a glimpse of Steven but he walked away quickly onto the next route dump dump "wait why am I feeling nervous I just saw him.....could it be that I...". I shook my head "focus Ruby" I smiled and walked towards the Pokémon center, then the PokéMart.
Now time to go to the next city maybe I'll bump into Steven again I smiled softly and got an Arco bike for free and headed out.'....Steven Stone.....I think I fell for you...love at first sight...'

Well this is the first part of StevenxRuby I decided to just do all shippings at different dates. Sorry if I missed out a lot from the game,its been a month since I played the game and finished it so I don't remember much but I'll be skipping a few parts of the game and create drama instead >:3.
