Kelly Doos: Steps towards Lopez iPhone in hand, using selfie-stick she records the Lying Lopez
Kelly Doos: Lopez is it true
Quincy: I trusted you
Parker: They'll find you in a ditch
Quincy: You're a goddamn witch
Lopez: I was just trying to help
The friends I made
The workplace I love
It's all beginning to fade
*******(demonic music, flashing red lights)
It was just one lie x2
To help a friend x2
And now my career may hit a dead end
I'm sure they are laughing all at me
Haha I'll fill your seat [A voice we later learn to be Quincy shouts this line from offstage]
Reporter: Lopez, did you know about the falsified autopsy report?
Lopez: What? A botched autopsy? What are you talking about?
Reporter: We never said it was botched?
Lopez: I just assumed..."
Reporter: You mean you knew...
Lopez: No. *Lopez walks off stage left*
*Quincy Enters stage right*
Light flute playing (music to come)
Quincy: *picks up the phone* What do you mean Lopez was fired? ...He lied? Why would he...was this about Elaine again? She botched the autopsy, and he covered for her. No...Paul, I get it, just give me a moment, I need to talk to someone.
*Quincy pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs, upset and thoughtful, he grows more irritated by the second, he picks up the phone*
Lopez: What is it, Rutherford?
*Lopez sounds exhausted. This is a moment of vulnerability for him*
Quincy: Why did you do it? Why did you lie for that woman? Is your career, your pride, your integrity, not worth more than that woman?
Lopez: We can't have this conversation over the phone...we'll meet at my office
Quincy: ...You mean my office?
*lights grow dim*
