I scream threw the rag in my mouth as loud as I can for the last time. I am loosing my voice I have been shouting so much. Feeling myself put in a chair, I quickly kick out blindly. I have a thing against being blind folded. Once I feel something soft, I hear a grunt of pain. I quickly take of my blind fold to see two men. One is hunched over, clutching his, oops. Well he deserves it. The other man however is lunging at me. Suddenly, Alex comes running at the man. She grabs on to his neck and hangs from it as he try's to shake her off. I pull my leg backward to kick, but someone grabs my leg from behind. The person pulls up and I hand hard on my stomach. The breath is knocked out of me. I am flipped over and I see two men. One is leering over me, and the other has Alex pinned to the ground.

"Stupid bitch!" The man leering over me grumbles and punches me hard on the forehead. My vision goes blurry with pain. Whale I was disoriented, he practically threw me into a chair right next to a chair with a tied up Alex. She has a black eye. All I want to do is cry. As my hands are tied behind my back, Alex gives me a small smile. We are sitting with out sides touching, and I lead my head on her shoulder. She lays her head on mine. I feel a single tear role down my cheek.

Cole POV

I knock on the door again. The lights are all on. Alex and Emily would never leave them on of they were out. And they would never not open the door. Was it a mistake? I should call Gabe. Taking out my phone, I click his speed dial.

G- Hey bro what's up?
C- Is Alex with you? or Emily?
G- no, I thought that we were meeting them at their apartment. Why?
C- Are you close?
G- ya, about 2 minutes away.
C-Do you have the spare key Alex gave you?
G- Ya dude. What's up? you seem nervous.
C- See you when you get here.

Hanging up, I knocked again. I tried Emily's cellphone, and like on my way here, there is no reply. Gabe comes up behind me.

"Why aren't you inside?" He asks.

"They didn't answer," I say softly. Gabe suddenly looks as nervous as I feel. He takes out his key and opens the door. Emily's lights and the main room lights are all on.

"Alex? Emily?" Gabe asks cautiously. At first we are careful, afraid they are going to jump out at us. But soon, we are frantic.

"ALEX! EMILY! THIS IS NOT FUNNY!" I shout. Maybe I screamed. I'm not sure. Gabe sits down and puts his head in this hands. I don't give up. They can't be gone! They can't!

"Dalton, she never saw my text praising their cover," Gabe says weakly. I can't stop searching. They have got to be here! "Dalton, they aren't here!" Gabe whimpers. The second the finishes saying the obvious, I know it is true. I fall down on my knees. Where could they be?

"I'm going to try calling them both on three way line," Gabe tells me pulling out his phone. Than I hear it. Buz. Buz. Buz. I stand up and listen harder. I end up in Emily's room, and I find her phone in the garbage. The screen is dented in. I walk back out just holding her phone. Gabe try's calling Alex but we don't hear anything. I take out my lucky dice. Laugh at me all you want, but I've had this since I was a kid. I throw it up into the air and try to catch it, but I miss. My hands are shaking to much. Following the sound of it rolling, I find myself In front of the chair closest to Emily's door. I bend down, and see it laying against a phone. Alex's phone. I take it out and see that it is broken. The screen is frozen. I realize that she was trying to send a text before it broke.

To: Gabe
help! trying to take us to wha

That's all it says. I start to cry. My vision goes blurry and I start to feel panic. I fall to my knees and I might have dropped the phone. I don't know. I can't do or feel. tears stream down my face and I breath fast. I can't think. I faintly think I hear my name. I can't concentrate on the voice though. I'm shaking. I faintly feel something around my mouth. I breath slower. Coming back to my senses, I see Gabe holding me tight with one hand and holding a paper bag to my mouth with the other. I can tell by his face that he read the text.

"I haven't had a panic attack in years," I say void of emotion.

"You love her," Gabe says softly.
