Chase? (chapter 3)

Marshall's POV

I woke up to find a note outside my pup house so I read

Dear Marshall

Thanks for being here always for me I've decided to run away, your like a brother to me and I don't want you to blame yourself for this because its not your fault one day I hope we do see each other again good luck Marshall,

I started crying quietly to not wake up the other pups, then I walk into the lookout to see Ryder crying with a peace of paper in his hand . "Ryder are you alright" I asked. Then he shown me the letter he got.

Dear Paw patrol

I've decided to run away I heard all of you pups talking about how bad of a leader I am so one of you can take my position, don't come looking for me because by the time your reading this I'm going to be long gone from Adventure Bay good luck operating the paw patrol without me.

Seeing it was the same about Chase running away but for all of us I showed Ryder what Chase wrote to me and then we just sat there crying. A minute later Ryder called us all to the lookout. "PAW PATROL, TO THE LOOKOUT!" All the pups came they all thought Chase and Marshall was up there waiting so they went up to see a sad Marshall and a angry Ryder. "Pups I'm very disappointed, you all made Chase run away." They all looked sad once Ryder said that. "Now were going to bring Chase home safe". Zuma I need you to check the bay, Rubble check the forest with Rocky, Skye and Marshall I need you to check the town just in case he is still here.

Ryder's POV

I was so angry at the pups but I can't hate them, but that doesn't matter all what matters is bringing Chase home safe we've been searching for four hours now and we still not found him. "Pups return to the lookout" I said. Disappointed that we couldn't find him, tomorrow we will try although we will need to give up at some point now we have told everyone in Adventure bay about Chase. After that we got a storm warning for the 2 days starting in about 1 Hours time. The pups went into the lookout to start eating there dinner and stayed inside to sleep.

I couldn't sleep I just feel lost in my thoughts, then Marshall came in "Ryder, sir I cant sleep I keep thinking about Chase and what if his in trouble?" "His a tuff pup and we will find him" I replied I knew Marshall had nothing to do with Chase running away so I wasn't angry at him. Then I remember something

A day ago

"Ryder sir, Chase isn't himself he seems sad" Marshall said. "His probably fine" I replied

I should of checked on Chase to see if everything was okay, not leave him sad this is all my fault I thought to myself. After that Ryder, and Marshall fell asleep next to each other.
