Master Yoda's (female) padawan

Ambush part 2

They soon hear more droids and Jeck says "Rollers, inbound. Retreat!" Yoda activates his lightsaber and says "Cover you, I will."

He deflects all there shots before he throws a bunch of rocks down on the droids. He then runs to catch up to the others. Once he catches up with them he contacts the King and the King says "Master Yoda, I hear you're having trouble with the droid army?"

Yoda looks at him with, fake, curiosity and says "Trouble? I know nothing of this trouble. Look forward to our meeting soon, I do."

The King then hangs up and they start walking to come caves, they stop outside of them and Thire says " Are you sure we should go in there, General? There's no way out."

Yoda nods and says "Now rest, we must." They walk in and Ziva gently sets Thire down before she sits next to Yoda, Jeck sighs and says "We're low on ammo, sir. Only 2 grenades, and 1 rocket for the launcher."

Rey shakes his head and says "Against a battalion? Forget it, we've lost." Yoda raises a brow and says "So certain of defeat, are you?"

Thire sighs and says "With respect, General, maybe you should go on. Let us slow 'em down." Yoda smiles gently at them and says "All around us, is that with which we need to prevail, is. Come, sit. Your helmets, remove them. Your faces I wish to see."

The clone look at each other confused but take off there helmets anyway, Thire says " There's not much to look at here, sir. We all share the same face."

Ziva smiles and says "yes but our eyes deceive us. However in the force, you are all very different

Yoda nods before he stands up and goes I've to Rye.

He says "Rye, always focused on the enemy, are you. For inspiration, look to yourself, and those beside you." Ziva goes over to the Jeck and says "Jeck, you always concerned about weapons but weapons do not win battles. Your mind, is what will help us win."

Yoda then goes over to Thire and says "Thire, rush not into fights. Long is the war. Only by surviving it, will you prevail. Yes."

Ziva then sits back down  and says "you may be clones but the force resides in all life forms. Use it to quiet your minds, it will help you."

The clones smile at them and then they hear some commotion outside, they look out of the cave and see a bunch of tanks approaching through a pass.

Jeck says "Tanks. Is that the best they can throw at us?" Rye sighs and says "Yeah, but I've only got one shot left." Yoda smiles and says "greet them, I will."

Ziva shakes her head and says "not alone" before going over to stand next to Yoda. Thire says "Generals, you don't plan to take that whole column by yourself?"

Yoda smirks and says "Have you three, I do. Outnumbered are they. Know the time to help me, you will" before he jumps off with Ziva following.

Yoda heads to the front of the canons before he sits down in front of them. Ziva hides in the bushes and waits for the signals.

Yoda then jumps in the air before he activates his lightsaber and starts slicing up the droids and tanks, Ziva joins him and starts cutting up the tanks while Yoda deals with the droids.

After she was done cutting up the last tank she suddenly hears an explosion and that's when she and Yoda see a bunch of rocks fall onto a bunch of more droids.

They hear the clones cheer and Ziva smiles before getting out of the tank.

She sighs before she sits down on a rock, 2 bug looking birds then land on her shoulder and hand before she says "so Lieutenant, have you learned something today?"

He nods and says "I think we all did, General." Yoda smiles and says "Come, behind schedule are we. Not polite to be late."

They soon reach the Rendezvous site and see the King, Ventress, and Dooku, on hologram, talking. Dooku says "Ventress, kill him!"

Ventress activates her lightsaber and Ziva does the same before she stops Ventress from reaching the King's neck. Yoda holds Ventress in place with the force and the King says "Jedi Master Yoda. I am very pleased to meet you, at last."

Yoda nods and says "Share the feeling, I do, King Katoonku." Yoda then looks at Dooku and says "Failed you, Ventress has, Count."

Yoda then force pushes her back and Ventress says "I don't fear you, Jedi" before getting into an attack stance, Ziva does the same thing and Yoda says "Strong you are with the dark side, young one, but not that strong."

He then calls Ventress's lightsabers to his hands and says "Still much to learn, you have" before giving them back to her. Yoda smiles and says "Surrender, you should."

She growls at him before pushing a button on her comm link, making an explosion happen and rocks roll towards them. Yoda and Ziva stop them with the force before moving them to the side.

They look back and see that Ventress was gone, Yoda sighs and says "In the end, cowards are those who follow the dark side."

Dooku glares at him and says "It's a pity I wasn't there in person, my old master." Yoda sighs and says "A pity, indeed, my fallen apprentice."

Dooku then hangs up and Yoda looks at the King before he says "Perhaps now, begin negotiations, we can." The King shakes his head before he says "That is not necessary, my friend."

He then takes out his sword and says "You have my faith. Toydaria would be honored to host a Republic base. My people...are at your service."

He gives Yoda the sword and Yoda says "Your Majesty, fail you, we will not."
