Trying to forget someone you love
is like trying to
remember someone you never met
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
On the following day in school I was a little nervous. I was afraid of what would happen. Sasuke saw me with Naruto, but why am I even caring? It's not like I betrayed or cheated on him. We broke up and are on friendly terms. It had to be pure coincidence; Sasuke Uchiha wouldn't run after a girl. He said it himself, he loves me, but in another way.
And I know that he meant what he told me. I saw it in his dark, onyx eyes. Those eyes cannot lie to me, it's impossible. I know him too long for that.
But just because he doesn't love me, doesn't mean that I don't . . .
I walked inside the building I have to go to from Monday to Friday; the Konoha High School. When you enter the school you see a normal school. There are those rich chicks who use to stay in the floors and giggle and flirt like that's the only thing they are capable of.
And those short skirts, disgusting. They are literally crying to be, you know . . . screwed.
Anyway, these little tramps weren't what made me sick in the stomach. No, it was the boy who stood with them.
Raven hair, obsidian eyes and a brunette girl from a class below mine. She was clinging onto him like her life would depend on it and glared at every girl who even dared to come nearer to the Uchiha.
You're unbelievable, Sasuke Uchiha!
I would have lied if I said that I couldn't care less about him, to be honest, I was furious, hurt and disappointed. Sasuke used to tell me that he hated girls with such an attitude; well I guess the taste changed over the time.
What would Hinata say about that?
"[Name]!"I heard a familiar and sweet voice calling. Turning around I face the grinning face of a dog loving brunette boy.
"Good morning, Kiba," I greeted him and he stood there, awkwardly scratching the back oh his head.
"Is something the matter," I asked him, stealing glances at the direction of certain Uchiha who looked annoyed, but didn't utter a word. The Inuzuka boy nodded hesitantly and looked to ground.
"There is something I want to tell you," he started and I listened. He clenched his hands to fists and took a step forward.
"I like you!" he yelled at me and I cringed at the loudness of his voice that I failed to realize what he just told me until I saw two other boys walking over to me and grabbed the brunette by his shoulders.
"What did you just say?" Sasuke said glaring at Kiba.
"Sasuke!? Naruto?" I questioned as I slowly came back to senses.
"[name], what is your answer?" the brunette asked desperate.
"What was your question again?"
I saw Naruto face palming and Sasuke just chuckled.
"He didn't ask a question, idiot. He confessed to you!" the Uchiha yelled at me and I blushed in embarrassment.
"Oh." I only uttered and went silent.
KIBA LIKES ME!?
"Uh . . . sorry?" I wasn't used to this. People confessing their love to me was just odd. I want to be back to the old times where I was always hanging out with the boys. No feelings, no problems.
"Hah! See, she doesn't like you!" Naruto suddenly started to laugh and I was completely confused.
"I don't see why this is so funny," I muttered looking apologetically at Kiba. "You're all acting so strange currently, and what are you even doing here, Sasuke. Besides-" I approached Naruto and pinched his ear. "We are in the middle of a hallway, so don't make a scene!" I shouted and he flinched and mumbled a 'sorry'.
"I am just here because I don't want you and that going out!" Sasuke said, a hint of red on his normally pale cheeks. He looked away from me and his lips were formed into a pout.
It looked kind of cute to me.
"Eh, excuse me? This is my life, so don't try to rule over me. And more important we broke up."
"You broke up!"
"Because you went off with that Hyuuga girl."
"Hinata and I are only friends."
"Well, it didn't look like friends to me."
"Then buy yourself glasses!"
"Get yourself a heart and stop bothering me."
Suddenly somebody smacked me and Sasuke on the head. I rubbed the place I got hit and glared at my attacker.
"NARUTO!"
"And you told me to make no scene," he muttered and I flushed.
"He started it!" I argued and glared at Sasuke who returned it.
Baka Sasuke, stop looking at me like that!
